Thread: Dual Role SU-7611 Jun 2019, 12:07 PM The su76 fine as is. The arty should cost muni thats all. It already has low armour and hp. Its dammage is lower. Its pen will be lower. All it has is its range and arty imo. If it needs to become immobile to use the arty. The arty should be free and the hp/armour need to go up. Otherwise the su76 is back to being nearly usseles In: COH2 Balance

One SU-76's barrage was okay. Four of them at once was a dead Pak. okay but 4 x i believe 275 mp and 75/80 fuel deleting a pak with their arty is not wrong considering the recources used. Although the price increase was delayed at one point i believe. In: COH2 Balance

It's a cheaper alternative and before de barrage price nerf it was used in the meta. A su76 comes early enough to fight P4 and even though it can't solo them, coupled with a zis you could repel and even kill it. Su76 =/= stugs (lol autocorrect used here drugs) Simply because the units they have to face. Its cheaper because sov t3 and ost t3 are not the same. Sov tier 3 is ost tier 2.5. A 222 scout car can kill it if it can get on its rear. The su76 was nerfed because it could reliably fight panthers and heavies to an extent. Overshadowing the su85 wich is more expensive. A just nerf imo. In: COH2 Balance

However, if panther is a super-TD in the same class of M36 and FF, then it should get same range atleast. And i dont think the cost of SU76 equals JP4. Same cost as M36, deals good with mediums only. The performance should justify the price. Then the ff needs to be faster and together with the m36 they need more health and armour and get heavy crush. Then it can get the same range. The panther already has lost of things going for it. It does not justify or need one more. The su76 has less health and armour then the stug or jadpzr. Does less damage per shot and cant cloak. And unlike the su76 it gets a health buff with vet. Imo a paperweight td wich is a 2.5 tier td and not a tier 3 td, should not cost the same while all it has is range on the counterparts from axis. That's doable and it's realistic with our present resources. There are only five tanks with armour values over 300 to edit, and as heavies they're all up anyway in the rebalance. Doing away with the IS-2's frankly stupid 375 armour for example would go a long way. Why does it even have that much in the first place? Because its pen for its gun is quite low. Its rof and acc are not as high as certain other tanks that come close in terms of armour. That and axis dont always need to have the heaviest armoured tanks. In: COH2 Balance

Start another thread if you want to keep pushing your Panther ideas. The JPIV is a dedicated 140 FU AT vehicle and I can't for the life of me understand why it's geared towards mediums in a faction that already has the OKW P4. It'd geniunely be more useful as an SU-85 clone. I think because the panther is more geared towards heavies. If the jagdpzr4 also would geared towards heavies the overlap would be to great. Either one will will suffer for it and need tuning again. But thats just my opninion. In: COH2 Balance

T3 T34 have a good window of opportunity that will force axis into a defensive midgame. If the T34 were to fail (wich could happen) the damage is worse than loosing a T70. Therefore a comeback window opens. I see your point. But what role would the t70 need to fill? Scouting? Other then that i can not think of anything else. In: COH2 Gameplay

Lets not conviently forget how much smoke ost has in doctrines to escape damage. And blitz to get out of range quicker. Lets not forget the higher hp and armour valurs ost has over most allied armour. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Allied vs axis staying power9 Jun 2019, 10:45 AM CE,s have the old cons mosins i believe. 16 damage but terrible acc. Making them rng machines. Essentaily at close range they are at their best. But being 4 men they have low dps and no staying power unless merge is close by. In: COH2 Balance
