What you will get in that case? German "sherman/cromwell" that have the same stats and abilities as allies, and don't have any strong sides against. You just cutted off your own hands with that decision. Every armor combat between your and ally medium become very danger for you, you got 2 almost equal mediums. Who will win in battle if opponents have equal skills? But if you prefer light armor to other bonuses (accuracy, abilities) why not? When USF and UKF every game will be use M10 against you, soviet su-76 with spam t-70. You maybe understand that more "old" P4 was better than new "modern". In: COH2 Balance

Allies bazookas, piats and su-76 will be happy to fight against 160 armor. And don't forget that allies medium could be build from top-tier building, while ost in 1 tier earlir. In: COH2 Balance

Pentration from mid to frontal armor values: P4 115/234 (vet 3) Sherman 130/160 (vet 3) Cromwell 120/160 (vet 3) Then let's count chances to pen frontal armor: P4 vs Sherman - 115/160=71% P4 vs Cromwell - 115/160=71% Sherman vs P4 - 130/234=55% Cromwell vs P4 - 120/234=51% In: COH2 Balance

I think it possible to give stug more buffs, but only if it will be moved to T4. Then it will become OST version of su-85...Need OST their own su-85 it's big question. In: COH2 Balance

How much truth there is in that statement I do not know but what I do know is that the stug is underperforming. I see 2 possible ways to make it more viable and maybe lessen lategame Panther spam. 1. My preferred method would be upping the range to that of similar TD's. It would still retain all its weaknesses like low armor, no turret, and what seems to me sometimes bad accuracy. 2. Upping it's anti infantry damage to make it less of a early game risk. This reflects the older stug design of being a generalist. I think this option is less desirable though. Problem with accuracy could be solved as it was done for su-76 - nerf penetration, increase accuracy - "to better show and help with it main role as ligt\medium conter") arcasm 1. If you will increase range, it just increase backsitting gaming for OST - you will have TD that could killed only with 4 shots from AT and 60 range. Only if it will be treated like SU-76 with 3 shots HP. Player always must have risk, when build low-tier units against high-tier. I hope you agree that OST T3 don't equal soviet or USF T4? 2. I have better option (the similar i suggested for su-76 - "split upgrades") - default stug become is Stug-e, but you can upgrade it to Stug-G. Problem solved. Want AI power with lack AT - build Stug-e, want AT with poor AI - Stug-G. In: COH2 Balance

I would also argue that both the m10 and su76 are more cost efficient than the stug but dont get picked often in their respective factions for other issues. While with M10 i could agree (good mobility, AP sheels, war speed). But SU-76??? When you last time saw when players were use them (i saw stugs in finals champ 2vs2, but su-76 not)? It cost only 15 fuel less than stug, but have: 1. 3 shots hp 2. Could be one-fausted 3. Could be killed by german HMG 4. Less damage (120 and 140 with vet) and less penetration 5. If stug hited it with stun shot, it will be dead su-76. Only real benefits: 1. 60 range 2. Barrage have some usage I always prefer stug than this...not-td, not-arty thing. And i not mention than OST T3 give to player real units, while SU...only t-70 (AA have usage in team games). Every Su-76 will be handicap for OST player because will dealy soviet T4 and cons upgrade. I never will advice someone to build it, only in the most desperate situations or if axis player trying use spam of light vehicle (p2). SU-76 like shot in your own leg. In: COH2 Balance

As british forces too) When UKF got first bazookas in 1942 they send all of them on storages, because thought that effective distance on 200 yards in Africa quite...too near to soldier, if he want have any chances to survive. Also soviets noted low accuracy on distances more than 50 meters, danger zone behind shooter, smoke after shooting showed positions, very unstable igniting of gun powder in low temperatures. After all of these, bazooka don't looks pretty effective, right? And don't forget that these bazookas were first generation, not those bazookas that will be in use in 2-nd half of 1944 (M9A1). Thread: Soviet Lendlease rework5 Aug 2019, 18:27 PM I think we could include in lend-lease some british armor, valentine or churchill and USF m4c CP 0: M4C Sherman CP 0: Churchill or call-in valentine (but i prefer churchill). CP 3: repair station Fuel drop still Guards with thompsons (tankodesantniki), grenades regular and smoke. Get the same bonuses from near armor as pgrens with the same restrictions. In: COH2 Gameplay
