These abilities have horrible synergy. After some testing i agree with this sentiment. The weapons come too late a 3CP for them to be stalled out too as well. Either the PPSH package needs to effect penals as well in some way (like G43 with Grens/Pgrens) maybe give them the PPSH from the airborne commander or a single DP28 that locks out other weapon pick ups. The weapon drop should be replaced with a call in from T1 either the M3 or a Sniper to better synergise with T2. And on a barely related note. The PPSH Penals in Airborne need smoke or Urrah because right now they lack any kind of to get close to machineguns. This is compounded by that when you go Penals you will not likely have smoke mortars. In: COH2 Balance

They are way more versatile then Shock Troops when they have Thompsons. I really like them. The only problem i think they have is that their grenade assault ability is too strong because they are 6 man. Also i had a bug where i couldn't call them in, i said i needed more popcap but i had 70 left. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Rapid Conscription rework proposal (with implementation)25 Jan 2021, 17:23 PM I Agree that Rapid Conscription needs to be reworked but i think the solution OP provided is too convoluted. We are not sure how many patches this game still has in it so I'd personally rather the ability becomes simple and usefull. My proposal would be a very simple muni for manpower exchange. Let's say 100 muni for 300 manpower for example. It would be fairly easy to tweak the price and payout to a balanced state. It would also be thematic within the faction and obviously useful. As someone who both uses SVT Cons a lot and play a fair amount of OKW i would say the following things are hard to deal with: A well micro'd Flak Halftrack or Luchs The FH has the advantage of zoning out the Cons with suppression but it has to be screened properly and used carefully or it will get ambushed and killed with 3 anti tank grenades. The Luchs trades the advantage of suppression for firing on the move and kite like a t70 does. In my experience the FH is more annoying but this will probably depend on you micro skills. fallschirmjägers FJ's will out DPS SVT Cons at any range, so much so that one might say their pure DPS zones them out of areas. Add vet bonuses and Valiant Assault and not even Airborne Guards can save them. Obers This is the same as the FJ's but will take a bit longer to get going. Obers with either weapon upgrade will beat SVT cons. Due to vet the longer you fight them the scarier your guys become and the more impotent and one could argue even useless in fighting you late game. In: COH2 Gameplay
