Give a single reason, why you would even think of picking fortified over Jaeger, even if both commanders would have been free, considering you are picking both commanders pretty much to get Elephant. I personally some times use "fortified" instead of Jagger in 2vs2 simply because one can skip t3 and try to survive with the crappy C.Pz until Elefant can be called in. Panzer tactician is way better than Riegel imo also. In: COH2 Balance

Them that this is misunderstanding because for me when someone ask me a question it end in question mark. The question make little sense to me. If "tracking" was available lets say to T-70 there would be a point to compare with 222 "infatry awareness". The ability should simply not be available to SU-85 which is TD. Being actually better "infatry awareness" is simply the icing on the cake. In: COH2 Balance

How is that related to the SU-85's sight? I have already said that fixing the "bug" was a correct change. When IRHT was changed from "scanning" (which one more is completely irrelevant to this as I have already said)to sight there was preview, testing and debate as to how much the IRHT's reckon capability should reduced from 120 that it was. We ended up with sight 35 and tunnel vision of 80 because if it had more it was considered "OP". I find it strange that having SU-85 achieving better sight even temporarily by focus sight/tracking is not considered an issue even thou IRHT sole purpose is reckon. That is why I have suggest that "tracking" which is an ability better suited for a reckon unit should be removed from SU-85 and Focus sight become a timed vet 1 ability. In: COH2 Balance

Mechanic behind that sight and what it caused was. Stop misleading everyone. Removing the IRHT ability was a correct change. Allowing SU-85 to have better vision the IRHT with combination of focus sight and tracking is simply not justified. I have not mislead anyone. In: COH2 Balance

Many thing are incorrect in this post but I point the obvious: Rifle-grenade is not "techless" since it requires BP1 The DPS of grenadier on the move is simply not "great" with a singe G43 I addition the argument does not really hold much water because the majority of the things on the OP list where available before veteran squad leader become available. Way more than before. The goal was definitely achieved. Not every unit or ability can be good in every mode. Regardless, I'd like to experiment with their stock DPS a bit to see if they can become a bit more a viable choice in 1v1 too. Compared to the cheaper Penals (290 vs 295/80)the unit is not UP while arrive later, the desind of both unit is not that good. In: Lobby

This makes a big difference! That being said the FOP offers STrafing Run Recon Run Smoke Artillery Artillery Support Artillery Cover I think you could use some of the above abilities for other commanders like Lend Lease Assault that lack good off maps. One should removed most of the off map from the building so it becomes available earlier or lock the off map in CP/upgrade. In: Lobby

After the recent tech changes "Field Recovery Operation" is even weaker than before because you can simply build engis in the hq. Replace this ability with the flamethrower upgrade. The unit is actually quite good. I would suggest to remove this ability and to replace it with either the strafe or the artillery that the FOP provides. Getting a potent off map would make this commander so much better. Yes it has been nerfed because its sight was considered to be a problem although sight is all what the unit brings. If the sight of IRHT was problem having a TD with access to superior sight is actually a bigger issue. In: COH2 Balance
