About the tiger buff, no one says anything about the constant buffs for the USA tanks in the last months (jackson pen buff, easy8 pen buff, normal sherman pen buff), then the nerf of the stug G (removed twp). And then came the UKF tanks (comet has good pen and 50 range, firefly excelent against havies).
About the british, I for one, as a casual 1v1 player, think that they really need an early game buff. They received a lot of mid and late game nerfs (true, all needed), but no early game buff. The early game is very frustrating and now the late game won't save you ass anymore. (croc, comet, avre, glider, all nerfed)
even with all the USF buff it's still the worst faction outside of 1v1. it's simply catching up to the axis and doesn't need to have the goal post being moved further.
Stug got buffed into a very cost efficient td before the necessary nerf to twp. It's an amazing TD for its price.
If the comet was getting nerfed, I rather it being a nerf to its attack range. 50 range is really too much for a tank that can attack infantry. Plus the stug only get 50 range as well. |
The extra range really don't give you that much of a increase in lethality come on guys
I would also like to add that in order to take advantage of the weapon range you will still need units to sight for it as their sight has not been changed.
Again if it turns out to be OpieOP we can either revert or make adjustment hence why we are doing le mod. No Kappa.
actually the KT get +16 sight at vet 4, meaning that it can sight for itself at that point.
also, the tiger get +10 range at vet2. 55 range is really too much when Allied TD only get 60 range. |
on wasp: with volks schreck being the go to unit for okw, nerfing the wasp's range to 32.5 is going to make the wasp useless against the okw aside from super arrive game.

The biggest effect of the HP change on the comet is actually against schreck. (most) Tank gun will still be 5 hit kill at 720 but now schrecks are 6 hits kill instead of 7 hits kills.
As someone who hate the volks blob, I don't really like this changes.
King tiger didn't need the buff. It was the strongest tank in a straight up slug match, easily beating even the is2. You're suppose to kite the heavy tank to stay out of super 240 damage cannon. |

So, ok sure, but it's really about the same I would say.

the Penal's dps doesn't really get better than the conscript's DPS around 15 range. The svt is basically a smg without any of the benefit.

USF has just as much access to indirect fire as OKW has.
The LeIG's accuracy have been buff and the stuka is as powerful as ever.

Wasp in its current state it's a broken unit. Upcoming patch halves its damage in half. Let's see where to go from there.

Heavy tanks should keep the limit though, because it makes you use it strategically and you have to support it with combined arm instead of calling in several then A-moving the enemy position.
And as mentioned the range buff will make it even better vs US which needs to be taken into account
neither the soviet nor the british really have problem with multiple heavy tanks. It's really the American with their crappy ATW and tanks that have the problem with heavy.
Instead of limiting the heavy tanks to 1, the American armored and anti-tank arm need a buff. Right now The US is basically the bottom tier in any game beside 1v1. instead of trying to bring everyone down to the USF's level we should be bringing the USF up. |
The tiger's only "problem" in vanilla game is the fact you can only build 1. in 1v1 one tiger is significant, but in a 4v4 one tiger is a drop in the bucket.
Lock the tiger to one, until the player built the t4 building. Same thing with the IS2.
In addition, there needs to be a price decrease for the tiger or a price increase for the is2. The IS2 does feel a bit better than the tiger currently and as such should be more expensive.

About a week ago, I wanted to write something elsewhere about Penals and satchel charges, and took the time to use a Custom game, in order to test the Penals with a satchel charge against the central church in Semoskiy. It was still made of matchsticks and went down to one charge.
Therefore, I assume the Penals can still do the same with bunkers, but have not tested that recently.
one week age was before the release of UKF. Buildings have been changed since then.
I've seen the satchel failing to demolish buildings multiple times in game. I haven't tried it with bunkers. |
