And the Pack Howi has larger AoE (meaning more reliable suppression) and it's vet is light years ahead of the ISG's. the pack howitzer might have bigger AOE, but it's also got shorter range and less mobility. The gunshield on the LeIG also dramatically increase its survivability compared to the pack. A big factor in gun survivability is keeping the current gunners alive. If one of the active gunner died, the gun stop moving as one of the spare crew take his place. The pack howitzer gunners are unprotected and will usually die first. this lead to the crew getting stunned lock as the spare take his place and try to move again. LeIG gunners are much better protected doesn't have the same problem. The better range and mobility also allow it to keep up with your troops troops. Meanwhile the pack howitzer have trouble keeping up with the US rifleman. In: COH2 Balance

The wasp is the early Brits' sole reliable mean of anti-garrison, and more importantly anti-mg42. Right now the wasp doesn't really deal enough damage to make it a good counter against mg42. The mg42's default fire alone is going to damage the wasp, and the API will eat the wasp for breakfast. extend the range to 40-45, but require the carrier to remain stationary to fire the flamethrower. the UC should also get a HP buff. 200 hp with 10/5 armor is pretty fragile. the 222 by comparsion have 240 hp with 9/4.5 armor. In practice it's unlikely you will see any differences. bren for sapper or commandos. the vicker k is more useful for conscript or riflemen, but the m1919a6 is still better. In: COH2 Gameplay

Brits need more/better sniper counters. Design-wise they're supposed to countersnipe so I propose that the cloak time on brit sniper and ost sniper be mirrored. I will also point out that ost sniper does over-perform vs 5 and 4 man squads. He's balanced vs 6 man squads. I don't remember where but there was a thread comparing total time to kill of sov and ost snipers vs differently sized squads, and both snipers are balanced around opposing 4/6 model squads. Sov sniper needs a RoF buff vs volks (cause theyre 5 man). I propose this be done using target tables to adjust RoF. [Ty for your post elchino]. (Squad size standardization would be even better imo). To those complaining about durability: I propose adding a received accuracy modifier of 1.1 - 1.2 (test the values) to all snipers but keep the HP as it is. So they will be more vulnerable to small arms but retain durability against explosives. Also propose increasing the spacing on sov sniper cause he is VERY vulnerable to AoE in cover, and snipers (as a general rule) are always in cover. There, I believe that covers everything! soviet sniper doesn't really need a rof buff either. I usually just have sniper pick off the sturm/ober/falls instead of wasting shots on volks. This way killing emplacement is basically a matter of chasing off any nearby sapper. Without any sapper nearby the british cannot brace and the emplacement become vulnerable. In: Lobby

So relic buffed UC to have 50% better accuracy against sniper. That is cool, but vanila UC will still have terrible accuracy against it and wasp just gets 50% dmg decrease, meaning 50% accuracy increase is irrelevant compared to current performance vs sniper. And I still wonder if relic knows that grens have faust by default. that 50% accuracy buff isn't even on the default bren gun, it's on the vicker upgrade. In: Lobby
