Since they don't cost resources and don't take popcap. they are hardly "free" when they require your tommies to get within grenade distance and spend 45 mu to throw a smoke. To answer the OP. It's a good concept and useful in certain situation. Unfortunately it still leaves the brits without a non-doctrine mobile artillery. The sexton isn't that good either. In: COH2 Balance

If I want the mg42 to kill vehicle at vet 2 I can just pop the ability. the Weapon penetration bonus on the vicker is kind of meh. 2.47\2.08\1.69 is hardly useful against anything more durable than the 222. I wouldn't be opposed to it getting put down to 260 MP, but generally I think a better fix that all HMG's should get is an extra man for the OKW and USF ones and a removal of the recieved accuracy bonus for all factions. vickers have almost the same veterancy as the mg42. Otherwise its dps is only a bit better than the hmg42. Thread: vickers vs hmg427 Sep 2015, 21:48 PM the vickers isn't worth 280 mp. Its dps isn't that amazing while its suppression feels significantly weaker than the other mg. By comparison the hmg42 will suppress and kill as just good if not better while being 20 mp cheaper. In: COH2 Balance

I am afraid that this will make the wasp useless like the flame halftrack. The british also lack a good alternative method of clearing building. The wasp is really the only unit they have until the cromwell. Meanwhile the Ost can use a mortar or flame Pio. In: COH2 Balance

Spending so much MP for a unit that throws only satchels is not worth it collapsing building is also one of few uses the satchel had. with a ~4 seconds timer most units can easily get out of the way. COH1 target table doesn't allow for different ROF against different target. The closest thing is Penetration and accuracy, but that's far too rng. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Centaur OP7 Sep 2015, 10:59 AM here's the problem I have with the Centuar. While its dps is certainly impressive, it's still not enough to make it a hard counter against volks blob. The centuar lack the range, suppression, and speed to kite a volks blob the same way the quad .50cal do. The centuar is too reliant on pure dps to do the job. In: COH2 Balance

While I do approve the overall increase in building durability, the penal satchel need to OHK buildings. It's really the only thing the entire unit is useful for. In: COH2 Balance
