Brits also get trenches, sandbags, and other emplacements to garrison.
Not to mention their vet bonuses are different, extra range in garrisons (which brits can more readily and effectively place) vs. raw damage for muni with incendiary.
Sure I think the Wehr MG is better since it is more versatile, but they are simply different.
Unless I'm crazy and this unit is so useless that no one is using it any more in 1v1; though the last replay I watched, the brit player opened with 2 Vickers iirc.
the vickers cost 280 compared to the mg42's 260mp. If it's more expensive then it should be better.
It's 40 more MP expensive because it has an additional crewman. And you can't just sit your LeiG behind a bunch of shit because both units are best used with direct LoS. Functionally they operate in the same range. And the person who said the Pack Howi has better Vet isn't wrong at all, the ISG's vet has been legit garbo since day 1.
Yeah, 40 MP more expensive because it takes 4 deaths to decrew opposed to the ISG's 3. And the Pack Howi has larger AoE (meaning more reliable suppression) and it's vet is light years ahead of the ISG's.
the pack howitzer cost 50 more mp. The pack howitzer cost 380 and the LeIG cost 330mp.
So, while we're on numbers, how about we use numbers for auto fire as well?
You know, the numbers that matter most, because 90% of time the weapon will be on auto fire?
those values are outdated. Both of the weapon have been buffed considerably.
We have target tables now. If ISG is over performing against UKF and their emplacements then I'm pretty sure this can be easily fixed.
I wish people would stop trying to use target table for everything. The table target was a mess in coh1 because it was used for practically everything.
Maybe he should be slightly weaker to pay for his utility against light vehicles and ability to call barrage on vet1.
the british sniper already fire slower compared to the german sniper. He's got the soviet sniper's ROF, german's lone man vulnerable, and the worst cloak in the game. Aside from his critical shot, he's the worst sniper in the game. Even with his critical shot his long recloak time make him extremely high risk.
and the artillery is useless the last time I tried it. It put the sniper within shooting distance (30) and count as a shooting action. IE the sniper will be vulnerable for 6 seconds while within 30 unit of the enemy. It's basically a suicide order for the sniper.
Are you sure that the Ost and Brit sniper have the same durability? I could swear that the Brit sniper is as fragile as the pre-buff Ost sniper. Partner that with a long ass reload, long cloak time and long aim time and the Scotsman is pretty borked in comparison.
they have the same hp.
the extra accuracy on the german grenadier make the sniper seems more fragile than he is.
the ost sniper's durability is not the problem, his dps is.
the british sniper have the exact same hp but his dps is significantly lower. The combined sov squad have way more hp but their dps are also lower than the ost sniper.
It's not really true though. You have access to paks and 222's for munition free at, and tellers for munition at. Panzergrenadier shrecks are just icing on the cake.
Look at it this way, usf, ukf, and soviets can deal with early flack tracks, luchs, and pumas with AT guns. Shrecks are not necessities. They are luxury support weapons that are quite situational.
I would rate the soviet light as being better than the okw light vehicle.
the luchs arrive pretty late, and the flak-truck lack mobility. Puma is not useful against infantry.
the quad, t70, and stuart are all early light vehicle and effective against infantry. They are also powerful enough to straight up win a fight against the 222.
