Would manage to keep them somewhat on par on scale with allied infantry units. Volks would still be weaker late game. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: StuG life not viable13 Aug 2019, 20:33 PM Back to the topic. I think STUG would be more viable if it had a special shell for penetrating heavier units. It's current ability is useless it does half damage and hardly even stuns. Stuns enemy only for 2 seconds literally. Really no point in that. The Pak 40 which has the same ability is way more efficient and defined. Since it does full damage and stuns better. STUG needs a different ability, Penetration shell like what Jackson and Wolverine has to combat heavier armour. There is currently no point in using STUG really. Just against mediums which is quite useless all in all. As a tank destroyer, it needs something to enhance its capabilities against heavier armour. Then there would be more reason to use it. Same goes for Jagdpanzer which apparently has also a hard time against heavier vehicles. Panther seems to always do a better job penetrating tanks than either of these 2. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 70 ammo for just 1 Panzerschreck still, Why?13 Aug 2019, 20:26 PM Getting 2 Pzschrecks for Sturmpio is a bad idea since it does really distinguish them from other current wielders. It would simply be dull, boring and uninteresting. Having 1 Pzschreck only for its current cost is extremely undermined and clearly not distinguished. It is as of now, never used, due to its extreme inefficiency. What I think would be interesting: Giving Panzerbursche or PTRS would be quite an interesting dynamic change that I am willing to see. To create a different profile or a more dynamic faction distinguished from its currently ally. They really do vet too slowly currently. Is it broken because they are one of the hardest units to vet. I hardly even know what kind of grenade they are even using since it hardly ever reaches vet 3 unless you make it survive a straight 25-30 minutes. Is it a stun grenade because I can hardly tell. Lets add a rule that wstukas are forbidden and lets do the experiment again, to see really how many pak howies will be fielded Only very few since it is quite costy for one Pak Howie. All in all, Wstukas is overrated. It is simply the most predictable and the easiest to counter except for team weapons which it is only useful against since it takes time to repack. Against other kinds of units, you always guarantee that you will miss several times before getting any kills with it. The Wstuka It does pack a punch but the question is how often does successfully attempt to do so. In my experiences. Katusha (is king) and Panzerwerfer (is queen) are like 80% and Wstukas (is joker, being simply a joke) are 40% chances of hitting target. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: StuG life not viable13 Aug 2019, 20:06 PM And talking about Walking Stuka. That is an absolute shit unit in game because of its enormous predictability. That unit is just a wailing siren (so that every can hear it loud and clear) and the fact that it takes a long 5 seconds before it arrives on impact, makes it a complete disaster. Why Relic. It is only useful against those who take long to repack meaning only versus support weapons. Overall, it is a real shit/worst investment compared to either Katusha and Panzerwerfer. I really disagree with Greyshotproductions saying Walking Stuka being useful against blobs, lol. It is simply the easiest arty piece to counter. I simply had way better chances with both Panzerwerfer and Katusha. It does come early but does not make it all any good. Same goes for shitty Rak. In: COH2 Balance

Edit - It really does not make any sense to use a doctrine forcefully, just because it is done so to fulfill the roles that are missing, which is of great need. AT roles not being fixed nor adjusted as it should be. Simply Unprofessional. Then what is the point of having doctrines if you can not choose willingly which ever you'd like, if you have to use the new doctrine to fill in the missing gaps! In: COH2 Balance

That is very true. The thing is. OKW cant counter vehicles without their own armour. They really do need some change and improvement in their AT department which they utterly lack. They have too much AI focus and too little AT utility. In: COH2 Balance

Either of one of them being an AI focused and the other being AT specialist. Since both units are pretty strong in AI performances in the beginning which gives OKW generally an advantage. ___ Revamp Sturmpio and change their weapons to MP40 and cost of them being reduced to 280 manpower. Snare removed from Volks to Sturmpio. It influences Early Game Thus Sturmpio loses some mid range AI capabilities for more better close range, overall weakening their AI capabilities. To make Sturmpio more viable and acquirable then they are currently. Snares are available in the beginning instead of being locked behind tech. Volks can not be as spammable and efficient in this way since it wont be able to do many things at once. It will lose its AT capabilities in trade for more AI capabilities. To remove the feature of Volks spamming and remove Faust (Sturmpio has Faust instead). Key important feature that ruins allied and Okw gameplay is VOLKS SPAMMING. Cost of Volks should increase to 260. Their accuracy should be buffed slightly according to price and for their loss of their AT snare. New feature should be is getting 3 STG when they get the last PzHQ. ___ Why these changes. So, they are not too AI powered in the beginning thus giving USF including other factions an opportunity to have the upper hand in the beginning. To distinguish them. Both Volks and Sturmpio are currently AI dominant and should separate their roles better especially to give Allies to have some opportunities. Also for OKW to have the opportunity to use Sturmpio more frequently for more different uses and designated roles. Changes need to happen between both Sturmpio and Volks if Allies are to get an opportunity of improving their changes. One other thing, OKW vehicles needs some changing also. In: COH2 Balance

I mean it would make sense for it costing 70 ammo for 1 Pzschreck if Sturmpio had one of the following features. - Has Camo - Has Snare (AT nade to stun vehicles) But since it has neither to make it a potent at all AT unit, it should be 50 or 60 ammo. Especially when it is only Sturmpio that can acquire it. Thus it is a justified change. It is limited to having 1 only anyway, so reducing its price wont hurt unless they acquire it on any unit available which can not. Here is a simple direct comparison. Take Royal Engineers. 1 Piat with them is already way superior because they have snare in combination. Same with Penals which costs 60 ammo. Their DPS is almost 2 twice as much as the Sturmpio Pzschreck which is incomparable and incomprehenisble. Pzschreck must be lowered in prices for more reasons than not. Including USF faction which can be dominant in handeld AT if you pick Riflemen in combination. 70 ammo is just ridiculous. It deserves a price decrease. At max 60 ammo and lower. That is what it deserves at least for having no outside accessories to make it a stronger unit. If no price change. Make it able to holster it at least since 70 is heck a lot and deserves something more out of it rather than huge loss in performance which it currently experiences. It really needs changes.
