I'd rather see something to buff USF anti-tank abilities. Like a call in 76mm ATG, Hellcat would be cool. On the other side, a call in sniper at a certain CP count. Maybe a commander that switch the riflemen AT nade with sticky bombs bc the USF nades are buggy as hell and never shoot half the time and take too long. |

No, they have not. There is no reason why 1 limited schreck should cost 70 ammo at all!
Especially when you can not decide for any other unit to acquire it. For that, it should be 50 ammo.
Otherwise all factions Zooks and Schrecks should cost 70 ammo each since that would be adjusted respectively to their performance.
This is clearly not adjusted respectively!
With that in mind, why is the 30. cal for the USF 70 ammo when the MG-42 LMG on grens are 60? but the LMG 42 is wayyyyy better. Relic will never use logic, plus grens upgrade on the field and usf at base |

With they make them 1.00 received accuracy modifier like all other weapon teams?

DPS>mobility in almost all cases, unless a weapon does full DPS while on the move because then you open up potential for kiting and flanking. When was the last time a USF player said "I would rather have BARs than M1919s because they can fire on the move?" Practically never.
That is the exact reason why I chose BARS over M1919s.

USF/UKF
Able to equip all infantry with anti tank weapons and unskillfully blobb (even through red cover) towards both OKW/OH tanks with very minimal loss.
Ostwind is not nearly as usefull as it should be, the accuracy is terrible. Outclassed completely by the Sherman/comet/cromwell in terms of A.I.
P4 is "Okay" vs infantry but is quickly outclassed by most allied armour in terms of AT. So this unit i find not building over the stug.
Panther is a joke vs AT and AI. But in this argument im on the AI side of things. You must have the tank pointed in the direction of the infantry unit to apply the slightest respectable amount of damage with all three MGs.
My problem here is that, why as an OH player, am i being punished by allied armour if i blindly rush my unit to try to faust, or shreck a tank. Usually ends up in a 4 man squad wipe. Espeically by a cromwell.
my problem again, is the lack of skill late game im seeing against expensive armour, to simply piat blobb, or zook blobb. With minimal losses, meanwhile an early game armour from the USF/UKF is simply able to point and wipe squads the second they are fielded. Then (UKF) armour late game is able to counter OH tier 3/4 tanks, and wipe squads no problem. Jack of all trade units that require minimal skill.
TLDR;
-OH AI tanks outclassed by USF/UKF armour
-Allied infantry able to unskillfully blobb towards axis heavies with no real punishment.
-You want MG42a to counter blobbs? Sorry a USF motor countered it cuz its stupidly accurate.

Are you serious? Then use infantry to kills his AT blobs, don't be a noob. Rifles with zooks or Piats cant do crap vs axis men with that. Don't fight anti tank with TANKS.......

AVRE shares the highest HP of any tank, auto reload, isnt easily abandoned and taken, and has faster reload than the ST.
Also it can shoot over shot blockers. Also costs less fuel

I feel there is a huge mis balance between these units. I guess both have their situations and pros and cons but I feel the ST has an unfair advantage for similar units.
The ST shoots further and our of the fog of war, shoot through shot blockers and one shots almost any allied tank
The AVRE yes does have faster auto reload but this thing lobs its round and hits shot blockers. You always know when this thing is shooting at you and cant hide behind. Have any of you also shot an enemy tank direct right on top of it and zero damage was done? Maybe a bug but that is frustrating.
What do you guys think? I think the ST should at least have reduced range or not shoot through walls, its kind of crazy. |
Are they basically the same squad?
I know Guards do decently well vs infantry now and their PTRS rifles hit infantry.
Do the boyz rifle squad do the same? or they purely for light vehicle duty? |
