Remove sprint while in combat, you get double shocks that devower grens and Mg 42 via smoke. |

I literally never seen any complaints or threads made on spotting scopes yet there is a change, I'm disappointed In that as it just completely removed any offensive ability on it. Itll be virtually useless for stugs as there is always a little traversing going on.

The traverse is trash on the 42 which neglects its large arc. I'd rather,
-decrease the arc
-increase traverse speed
-decrease setup time
-add death loop
then see it as is.

Something needs to be done with the tier 2 force tech, into defensive AT guns. Ost is trash because it is and always has been a reaction defensive faction. With scout vehicles and light tanks being a go to for allies every game, it has become stale, and if you over extend at all, you lose your AT gun then the game, unless as mentioned before panic puma, that's why OKW is good because tier 0 racken, and lethal tier 2 AI/AT capabilities.

SC available in HQ after tier 2 tech
Switch sniper for AT gun.

Because early war presents opportunities for more new factions and shitload of "new" tanks and equipment, which would be a nice thematic refreshment from the traditional formula of sucking krupp steel dick.
Because a part of war, where german tanks are most inferior one would be new and unique take on WW2 rts(sorry heavy tank lovers, you'd have only french and british heavy tanks to play with).
Problem with that is infantry.
ALL of them except for snipers would be automatic rifles. Maybe forced DRM squad.
I think your wrong, there are plenty of light med and heavy tanks to introduce early and later in game as well for actual game content, also, since cold war gone hot never happened to the full extent, relic is free to make a whole scenario with endless possibilities. As for infantry, I dont see why simple stuff such as ak47s being fully auto, m16s being semi (rough example) not like relic went full historical accuracy here. I mean mini 14s are semi, it would be a huge post if I implimented all the various units and weapons of NATO and Warsaw. Point is, there are plenty to chose from. I mean we currently have p2s fighting against pershings so yeahhh |
1. Why would you guys want another ww2 themed RTS? It would be an expansion with better graphics and few new units. Repetitive and boring. Let's be honest we play coh2 because there is no game that has the same mechanics directional cover/RNG/Armour values, tech trees as well as large but manageable individual unit command, so we are stuck with coh franchise for now.
2. Cold war era has numerous units that range in the light, medium, and heavy category M1A1 vs T90, Bradley vs BMP 2. There are dumb bombs, smart bombs, mobile arty etc. Coh1 had a modern warfare mod that I thought was great. It wont be all lazers, point and click abilities.
2. Halo wars 2 was complete trash. For halo 1, I was #1 anders, top ~5 2v2. So when I played halo wars 2,It was a complete wrong direction, imo they went complicated as they should have stayed with a simple rock paper sizzor foundation.

It's because retreating units get a boost to received accuracy: each shot has a lower chance to hit them.
The chasing vehicle is essentially rolling a dice over and over trying to roll a six.
Which is complete bs. Using a .222 to get a sniper is a vital point in the game. Especially because of a lurking t70/AEC which is not far from being fielded. Iv seen far too many bs chase downs just to lose it. And that was my only chance early game, as OST, investing in a sniper just to counter snipe is dangerous due to the tier 2 needed for AT. I don't know what time it is in game but I do know it makes a difference. (2v2 speaking) |
Iv noticed a lot of inconsistencies in the 222 chasing retreating snipers with little or no damage done to it. Then you chase back into base and sniper circles HQ and gets away because of guards/cons/penals. I would vote in increase damage to sniper on retreat. |
I would like to see it more survivable that's all. I would kill to have a bulletproof light vehicle as OST. |
