Let okw build mg42 bunkers instead. (non doctrine)
The wehrmacht and OKW need to have tools to make themselves more unique from one another and the new patch is already making them more similar and also it would make the fortifications doctrine less useful. I think what needs to happen is they need to remove the suppression, raise the damage a bit, make the flak cannon undecrewable and then make it cheaper because I would really like to use this unit and I can see it being very useful but hopefully not op.
So, what we've come up with is:
"use an otherwise useless doctrine"
"Your a whiner because my 280/30 emplacement can't be taken out with successfully with combined arms for ten minutes but immediately kills anything that gets close to it and it counters all of its counters"
Or "use what we've already explained does work if there is the slightest bit of aupport"
Land mattress makes it much kore difficult to deal with.
The problem with the flak halftrack isnt so much the length of the setup time but the bug that makes it reset whenever you target something else when it is setting up and you cant tell it to move while its setting up because that also resets the timer and you usually need to tell it to move because it drives way to close to the target when you give it an attack order. What I thik they should do is fix the bugs and also decrease the fuel price a bit because it is a risky unit to buy but I dont really think it needs a pen buff.
Command Panther is a unique doctrinal tank (which you know) and JPIV uses cone-sight (which you also know). Besides, nobody was complaining about the performance of the Jackson anyways. It really didn't need a buff.
The reason we do not have a howitzer for OKW, is that we get the best rocket artillery in the game (Stuka zu Fuss). Nothing comes close to its accuracy and destructive power. OKW already can bust open emplacements far easier than OH can, and then there's the doc Jagdtiger for endgame fort sieges. Hummel is totally unnecessary, as much as some people here want this to happen:
The stuka zu fuss has great damage per rocket but it does it in a very small area in a short burst, what the hummel would be great for is area denial and harassment of emplacements over a long period of time because to kill emplacements with stukas you have to have 2 of them because the emplacements will be repaired by the time you reload but the hummel could actually keep the damage coming and punish British players who put all their emplacements in one spot by doing damage to all their emplacements and the engineers that try to repair over a period of time and it would still be useful without emplacements as a good indirect fire weapon but it doesn't have to be as op as it is in the video you posted after all lots of units that appear in coh2 are different than they were in the original coh.
You can play the mod already if you get it from the workshop.
T34 is better, but it doesn't outperform P4 with pintle.
While crushing does kill inf, you can't really put a "firepower" label on it and call it a day.
Yeah I guess if thats the case then ill say that allied tanks arnt really that much better in AI but im still worried that raketens wont be able to gain veterency that well because there survivability is so bad because even if you get a crit with a faust and slow it down with engine damage so it cant escape the raketens fire it still has a really good chance of being wiped because the tank will more than likely target the raketen and at less than 50 range the raketen wont last long at all esspecially if the tank has support.
If by "allied tanks" you mean exclusively USF sherman, then you are right(talking about generalist tanks).
Well the patch hasn't come out yet but based on the notes the t 34 is going to be much better at killing infantry than it was and also the Cromwell can crush better than any axis tank the the comet has the phosphorus grenades and a pretty fast firing gun so I wouldn't say the Sherman is exclusively the only allied tank with better AI abilities compared to axis tanks.
You mean that stuff USF and UKF only get with 1 doctrine?
Wait so regular sherman with HE rounds is doctrinal now? because no it isnt and allied tanks generally have better AI so thats why rakettans die so easily in the hands of axis players.
You don't seem to be familiar with the HE ability at Vet1. It has a 125 range and it bascially counters it's counter: AT guns.
So what do you have to say about the comets phosphorus ability that also counters at guns except less obviously because it doesn't make a lot of noise an ability which it shoudnt need because it is much faster and less expensive and just because of the fact that it is a medium tank and medium tanks shouldn't be able to counter at guns while heavies actually have trouble moving around them and could actually use an anti at gun ability.
