Make the Battlegroup HQ great again.
Hollow shells should return and smoke should be accessible as well.
Smoke would be a great idea and maybe hollow shells as well but the reason I say maybe is because I can barley remember what they did, did they just do more damage to tanks or did thy also do more to structures because if thats the case I would definitely want them back and it would be amazing if the flak halftrack finally became useful again.
Well, by looking at stats, yeah the KT is not just an AI vehicle.
But functionally, you know, from game experience it serves heavily in its AI role. Or rather, I should say it is most effectively used in an AI role for all practical purposes.
A single t34/76 can kill a KT without taking damage if there's the room for it to circle strafe. I've (mostly) done it before. (Baited it onto a mine first.) For that reason the KT doesn't exactly excel in an AT role, which you wouldn't really be able to surmise just from its stats.
+1 Thats exactly what I was talking about and its an example of how sometimes you cant judge a unit solely on its stats.
220 average penetration, 240 damage and ~6sec reload are definitely NOT stats of primarily AI vehicle.
KT is anti all unit, no matter how you want to look at it.
Its definitely an anti all vehicle but the reason its not the best AT vehicle is because it has crappy sight range and slow max speed and slow turret rotation so it can oftentimes be hard to finish off tanks.
If you are getting wiped on retreat by t70s you REALLY need to revise your play style.
This is just an example of very bad rng on the part of t70. The same goes for the pak at the end that hit the building instead of finishing the t70 but I dont hear anyone saying the pak40 is bad.
If I understand movement scatter penalties correctly, movement scatter should only apply to horizontal scatter, not vertical scatter (tanks almost always use max vertical scatter).
T70 has normal horizontal scatter (7.5 degrees). Thus, movement penalties should hurt it quite a bit.
However, T-70 has very small (small) vertical scatter. Regardless of whether scatter penalty also applies to vertical scatter, the end result will be something very small. Thus, the T-70 gives the appearances of a vehicle with no "movement accuracy penalties".
But yeah. As elchino7 noted, if you have issues with the T-70, Easy8's will blow you apart. (hah!)
Interesting I didnt know that there was vertical scatter, is that why the Raketenwerfer hits the ground so often or is that something else?
The Flammhetzer may have the same flame damage as the Croc and the Kv8 but like others have said there are other values that affect damage but in my opinion the biggest reason that the Flammhetzer isnt viable is because it has low armor and hp which means that it can be easily penned from the front by bazookas and piats and it cant avoid the rounds or kite because it has no turret so it must face the infantry at all times without any chance to dodge projectiles. Flame weapons dont have value with burst damage but rather with damage over time so they are only useful if they can stay in a fight but the Flammhetzer is forced to back off way more often because it isnt a damage sponge like the Croc and Kv8 and because of its lower armor it will take even more damage than the Kv8 and the Croc and because it has no turret one must be much more careful when picking a path to engage a squad.
What I think needs to happen is that either the Flammhetzer needs a price decrease or the Flammhetzer needs to have its dps increased (not sure which stats should be changed though) and either its armor needs a buff or its hp needs to be increased (not to the levels of the Croc or Kv8) because it really sucks that infantry can actually successfully throw off an attack by an expensive AI specialist vehicle so easily.
Lots of good suggestions here but I think that many of the soviet and Wehrmacht commanders need revamping as others have mentioned also the Flammhetzer needs a cp reduction and a bit more armor in addition to the extra damage in order to justify the same price as the ostwind which has more utility because it can kill half tracks and harass tanks and of course it can shoot down planes also its much more easy to use and keep alive because it has a turret and blitz and the recoup losses ability in the feuersturm doctrine is useless because the OKW already has lots of manpower float and it has such a short duration, it could either be replaced or given a longer duration.
I think he seems condescending because you get people who whine about things that don't make sense and he just basically says what everyone else is thinking.
uhh I never get the impression that Katitof speaks for the common voice of the people and I know that the average person isnt so condescending and arrogant but there are always people who complain about stuff that doesnt matter.
For people who create and support these kind of none issue threads, brining up hard evidence is the Literal stake to the heart to kill off the credibility of the troll.
Katiof is trooper for doing the proper thing and discrediting the op of such threads using cold hard numbers, and therefore reducing future credibility of the said poster (which is why you have trolls that jump from account to account to rid of said discredbilty) which ultimately makes the community better.
Because of this he is not populare to people like the OP and others.
I really dont like to go off topic but the idea that Katitof is hated simply because he uses stats is ridiculous if that were true than Mr Smith would be the most hated person on the forums but thats not the reason he is hated, he is hated because he is extremely condescending and he often just posts to make a stupid joke and he often appears to have an allied bias and he obviously has spent way more hours on the forums than he has playing the game that being said I have agreed with Katitof several times in the past and especially since this patch because there has been a ridiculous amount of whining from Axis blobbers and people who dont want to relearn OKW despite the fact that the OKW was largely buffed from this patch.
