The problem that the Sherman has is that it takes two of them to equal the AI of the Dozer, and then you lose the ability to dive against wounded tanks because you don't have a Hellcat. Also, the performance is not good unless you go Armored and get the upgrades. If you go Armored, get the upgrades and can survive for about 40 minutes then the Shermans get good, but that is a lof of if's.
So basically you need a bunch of upgrades to make it decent |
I think coh3 is the best coh yet and far superior than coh2.
well that's easy really, in terms of actual product its vastly improved over coh2 hands down. The faction structure IMO is better which isn't surprising since a lot of it comes from coh1 but a lot of the dynamic and quality life improvements of coh 2.
Personally i think it looks far superior than coh2 simply because i love the colorful meditrian look than the Soviet/Russian grey of the eastern front, yes i'm aware its intentinal for the front, however i still prefer it.
Does it have its issues? Sure but what rts doesn't need a couple of patches. |
So basically we are all more or less agreement that the Sherman isn't good basically. There is a lot of "what-about-ism" post, however it seems I'm not the only one looking at this 360mp 90 fuel unit and wondering why exactly is performing like that. |
As far as I can tell AOE ,tightrope, Havoc and Epern regularly stream, good mix of faction choices and good players with commentary. You have lesser known streamers who don't speak English like all the Korean ones who are good but are unorthodox when they play or toxic grenadier who's Russian.
Than you have a slew of average or below average players like Imperial dane who do just one faction most of the time, which I enjoy his streams because if you set him off he rants for like 15 minutes which is always funny as hell, northwest fresh gets a mention since he's really coming on his own getting better every time I play him.
The list is growing as company 3 is really coming in on its own, have few hold outs like Sebrian doing coh 2.
*this response posted to another thread but still revalant |

Which is weird consider I rarely if ever go anything else than Mechanized but I find myself doing a bully and a pair of hell cats all the time. The base Sherman and the 76 one just misses to much to be worth it. |
thats a easy answer, anyone who plays 4v4 |
I mean the numbers are pretty clear, Axis are in the advantage this patch |
I think a reasonable balance is to remove suppression on the move. Its the exact same issue that the american one had in coh2 |
Really not much to talk about other then this thing basically kills light armor and can suppress units behind cover as well as on the move. |
