The problem with this commander is that even when balanced it creates extremely boring gameplay.
The FHQ's not healing themselves would help make this commander be better balanced.
Boring for you perhaps but not for the person playing that commander.
Go wehrmacht get double 222 or flame ht and burn down his actual HQ while he's setting up his sim city. this is a pretty fun way to counter it cuz he ends up flaming you or rage quitting
You know what, I am trying that next time I am in a 4v4 match!
Thanks for the suggestion! |
Wow, you didn't know you can inflict losses on Volks by M3 without loosing any manpower yourself?
Now at least you know it
It's a tactic, I will admit, I just have never seen it used in game is all.
Normally they get fausted quick.
What's up with people having extreme faction bias o.O
If you are referring to my comment, I will defend the opposite side of what the bandwagon is on; in other words, I see loads of Allied fanboyism ATM, I will defend Axis

*snip*
This way, Infiltration units will act more like harashers, supply-line disruptors and when needed, support-weapon harasher when upgraded, rather than straight-up support-weapon killers cause in this case, he'll have to spend MU + wait for quite a while before he can use them for assault.
Get real, 200mp for partisans?
100MU for STG for a faction already short on munitions?
What's the point in having stormtruppers then if they cannot storm, and need to wait for upgrade?
Same with commandos?
Your idea of nade cooldown is good. +1 on that.
PS:
I think you meant harasser; there is no sh in the English word |
Right now you are judging fish by it´s ability to climb a tree.
Quad is not close range bursting vehicle anymore. It´s support vehicle. Use it at long range, not moving and you will see how nicely will it supress the enemy squads.

Hear Hear!
hector ofcourse its great stand still and used for suppressing everyone knows that. but being so close to a unit while moving should be able to do some damage. for example reversing while engine damaged. and troops are so close they are touching u... even tho ur quad is shooting it wont hurt them nearly no damage at all.... which it should not be that wat. think about luch or 222... allies troop cant close in cuz they will get raped being close even while the light vehicle is moving. u shouldnt be able to be 1 feet away from it and be safe is wat im trying to say. while moving and shooting from far is a different story but up close troops should take a decent amount of damage.. if ur going to argue about how its fine, first go try it then get back to me and tell me its fine
Nope, sorry Quad is fine now.
If you used it properly, it the enemy wouldnt come 1 foot of it.
The quad's accuracy on the move was reduced to prevent it picking off squads constantly. You can also get this unit as Americans with certain cmdrs, a very potent thing for a faction which usually doesn't have lots of suppression power.
If you get it for suppression you will be very impressed. Keep it well back, it just needs to nick the squads you want to crawl on the ground.

I love seeing soviets trying to YOLO that thing into a wall of Paks

Once upon a time games HAD to be (mostly) bug free and in a highly playable state before release.
Now they can push them out half broken.
Games are far more complex than ever.
It all comes down to resources and picking the correct battles. For every bug which is shipped many more were deemed higher priority and squashed before release.
I really miss those days
It's not just games tho; software projects in general go live with bugs.
A few decades ago if a program had bugs pre go live, you pull the plug...
pong developers were true heroes who ironed out all the bugs such complex game had before launch.
i dont know what games people here play but all the new games i played past year+, even a few early access games ever had major bugs had launch.
If you buy 'early release' or pre alpha this is expected.
HOWEVER, if you buy a game that has been out for a month (see any battlefield), you SHOULD get it bug free.
Instead it takes developers 3 months or more to fix...
It's like comparing it to buying a brand spanking new toaster, and it either zaps you or only one side works...
A publisher spends millions of dollars on PR for a game pre and post release, that is when their game (product) is at its highest exposure and most chance of scoring a success, so why would they not try and release the best bug free version of the game possible within the given time.
Fuck oath!

if OKW seem to be over-performing or units that are too cost efficient, why not bring back the OKW resource penalty? >.> kinda miss that unnique feature
Nooo, dont do that! It would make them extremely difficult to play for beginners again!
At least, if they did that, bring back the muni/fuel offset to compensate
Yep, okw was generally much better design and ballance wise before the unfortunate 'redesign'. Sadly, there is probably no coming back after so many patches.
Why do people think that? I jumped on the Western armies 2 weeks before they got changed, and am genuinely curios.
Earlier pzfaust was for me best change in WBP.
Now with that being reverted, welcome back M3 rush.
Volks since they can stand against M3 without bleed, while Volks without pzfaust will bleed like a hell.
Volks bleeding against scout car?
Wut?
5/10 fuel cost kubel would have probably solve the issue the same way.

A bit offtopic, but have you ever considered banning KT if player calls ST and vice versa ?
Banning?
Do you mean fielding only one tank at a time?
I thought you were limited to only one specialist Tiger at a time? |
Stormtroopers/Jagers are a long range unit.
Spawning in buildings is a CQC action, and therefore counter productive to Jagers.
Spawn them on a remote building where you have a USF player repairing his tank, snipe crew, ????, profit |
You will see Jagdtigers in the majority of 3v3+ games. Your statement is false.
+1
Yeah but I am talking from the 1v1-2v2 perspective
Of course you are.
Both jagd always win against su85.
Nobody use is2
You are correct.
Seeing an IS2 is as rare as seeing a Tiger.
Compared to when this game came out, the Tigers are more or less scrap heaps

Quit talking to yourself.
So you're still wrong, dude. And clearly mad.
I would love to, but dont have money for my meds anymore.
I could be wrong.
And you would be mad too if you lost 5 games as Axis, due to the fact your team mates cannot take a point in a 4v2 scenario, and Ctrl+A move 6x Pio and 6x Pfuserlier in one.
I fkn hate this game sometimes

Hochwald gap was the best teamgame map in CoH if you ask me. Only problem was kettenkrad/ blocking the bridge on the north spawn. Other than that, perfect.
Loved fighting in that western forest.
You can play on some of the remakes.
They've expanded the bridge so you cannot block with kittenkarad/kubel anymore. |
