I have played with some people tripple my play time, and yet all they do is mindlessly Ctrl+A Volk/Sturm blobs; so there goes your "grasp" of the game.
Back on topic, Volks should've never got their AT taken from them IMO, only toned down.
If you were to give the option of AT or AI for volks, people will just spam them until a KT hits the field. |
Once infiltration cheese (i.e., mini-nuke & high-power SMGs spawning out of nowhere) get fixed, infiltration commandos could immediately gain the following:
- Ability to reinforce to 5th man (still spawn as 4-man squad)
- Ability to lay demo charges, after they have been reinforced to full at least once during the game
Currently, I see nothing special that Infiltration commandos bring to the table; except for infiltration cheese on the only Brit doctrine with viable mobile indirect fire and viable flamethrowers.
So uhm, how exactly can they lay a charge behind enemy lines IF they are required to have a 5th man? |
Kubel spam in 4v4? You mean to tell me you don't have a single ally to build an m3 or infantry carriers from the British? That's on you and your team not having communication, synergy, and strat adjustment.
Let this be an example on problems of 4v4 persons commenting on balance. If you and your team go 4 USF then that's completely on you. So it's safe to assume your playing random, knowing that a skilled AT team can counter kubel spam easy.. smh..

I think this will be not cool. Because too high difference between USA forces and Vietnam partisans.For USA you will have aircrafts, tanks, artillery (in huge amounts), helicopters and e.t.c. Partisans dont have such variety of tools, only infantry, a few artillery and mortars, maybe few soviet tanks. If you will start to balancing USA and Vietkong it will be looking as fighting between small groups of infatry with call-in arty strikes and tanks as final bosses.
I think only hypothetical war conflict between USA an USSR will be interesting (with EU as 3-rd nation). Because their forces equal and variety of tools the same.

I really don't see how this is a problem, other abilities have long arrival times as well, like TOT artillery, which drops smoke. These abilities are supposed to be ineffective against moving targets and highly effective against stationary or disabled targets.
