Give the Eastern Front mod a go when you have a good feel for the game; It's a fantastic mod! To answer your questions: Rangers are OP as f*ck. They are the Terminators of CoH1 that come with bazookas; so good against everything except an MG. Thomson upgrade when you have loads of CQC (think of em like the Shock troops of SU) AT guns are your best bet against halftrack/Pumas. You may want to try a 1,2 punch combo with rifle's sticky bomb. Aside from AT gun, M10 or Sherman. Grens are better at close range, whereas volks are better at range. Volks with MP 40's get better close range firepower. Both melt in front of a 30cal. Bazookas are best against tanks/light vehicles. Recoiless is an emergency use bazooka for paratroopers/rifles; wouldnt do much damage to a stuh/stug from the front tho. Thread: Extracting and Playing Sounds from CoH/CoH221 Aug 2017, 22:06 PM G'Day Team, I am looking to get my hands dirty and start modding, particularly some of the sounds in CoH2, but have no idea how to do it. I played around with the CoH2 mod tools last night and managed to extract a few sounds, but it was painfully slow... Tried the youtube tutorials and some of the old SGA extractors, but either links were dead or things werent working (got the missing dll error) Does anyone: 1. Have any method of extracting EVERYTHING from the archive, instead of one by one? 2. Have a way of converting to MP3/WAV and back again? 3. What is the name for the Wehrmacht/SU sounds? All I managed to extract were the Brits for some reason. Any help will be appreciated. S In: Modding and Tools
