So, you want feedback?
I like the 5 man squad upgrade. It is needed. Also jp4 price reduction would be good but also dangerous as it is pretty damn good, performance wise - and I have no desire to see that changed.
Not feeling the Cromwell nor Comet mobility nerf. Their intention (to reduce crush, I assume) is good but there must be other ways of doing that rather than ruining the feel of the Brit tanks.
Don't like your Pershing idea. More HP vs aoe isn't a good trade. I feel like it's in a good place at the moment and so do the majority of coh2 org people, according to a recent poll.
Flak HT buff needed and so to the panther moving accuracy buff. All in all I'd say I'd get behind a third of your suggestions, indifferent about a third of them and disagree with another third. |
When I first started coh2 I couldn't understand all the hostility and animosity towards relic. But soon enough you see how absolutely shoddy they are in their ethic and in about every decision they make. Coh2 had just been awfully managed. I am amazed that Sega doesn't intervene into the bullshit that drags the franchise through the mud. |
Great work Siphon.
I think a better balance chart would involve match up between levels, not between ranks as rank is only relative to the number of people who play each faction, whereas level is not. This is how I believe the matchup tries to match people, not on rank.

Yes the three times longer aim time compared with other at guns is ridiculous. It is not uncommon for a tank to drive into the raketen, completely decrew it and stroll away again and the raketen has still not fired. If it does it shoots into the ground perhaps 1 in every 4 shots.
Yes yes, I know what katitof will say, that it has special snowflake features like camo and retreat and garrison. Camo is nice for sure, but garrison is only needed because you don't get green cover for the crew like with other at guns. Then the retreat, as someone mentioned, is actually less functionally useful than a reverse gear. In fact it is often the only way to save the raketen from fire and involves completely vacating the field of hard AT for a long time while an enemy tank goes to town. As a Brit player also, I laugh at raketens. |
So you want to remove the only way that USF has of dealing with garrisoned MG's in the early game (without critically delaying tech), and turn around and give the other axis faction a MG so they can garrison also....
Is this a joke? Smoke loses the game because it delays tech a tiny bit? Please tell me all the other faction t0 garrison solutions? |
That would surely be too soon. 6 weeks isn't enough time to change a line of code. |
+1
I don´t thought this moment will come, but I agree with Katitof.
Don't worry, it's not an opinion. It's pretty much fact. |
hilarious to see so much arguing about some 35muni recon strafe
I think it's not an argument but more like a show of disbelief at the egregious complaints of the op, which has people fired up. |
This is the kind of thread that should be on the official forum, along with other threads like pios being overpowered. I'd argue that flare recon is a bit OP, but not the recon pass, especially not on that commander.
I know man. Of all the actual imbalances in the game, this is what the op chooses to get worked up about. |
Nope, just didn't think it was worth responding to considering the giant cannon and free AA okw gets with it's tech.
But that's just changing the subject and I'm not going to respond to every bad argument.
Ok. So we were talking about features that both factions have that have different costs. Both have frp only one is free (and moveable) the other costs 300mp. Usf has no flak with their base so you can't talk about cost. Same way okw haven't figured out how to climb out of tanks and repair them, at any cost. This debate only makes sense if you are discussing parity of same or similar features. |
