I hardly find good teammates in auto match playing Allies, so i go with Axis instead. Average axis players are better than average Allies players
Confirmed by the chart from below. 61.8% of the people play Axis, 38.2% play Allies. So ya, less opportunity to get "good" Ally players
Careful there. Not everyone wants to play the easiest faction. There's a wide range of motives. Some play a faction for national reasons. Some for playstyle. And yes, some just want to win. So it factors in, but it's not the sole reason! ...
Also, according to this fancy stats site, OKW wins more in team games. In 1v1 they are the faction that has the lowest number of wins, though. They are also the least played faction in 1v1. So maybe Relic should ask themselve how they can make OKW better in 1v1, but worse in team games?

As your link shows, the win:loss just gets more exaggerated as the OP flexes more and more in team games.
Of the 4 sides, USF is played the least (17.7%). As mentioned above, a bulk of players play Axis and I'll still wager because A) it's stronger and B) with more players playing it, you'll get better players who'll easily exploit the strengths against less experienced. Doesn't help that the automatching is just as broken as CoH1, putting veteran/high win players against lower ranked ones.

Comparing it to P47 results in quite obvious over performance of Stuka AT loiter.
P47 is completely unable to wreck armor in single pass even if both planes hit, which is extremely rare occuranece.
P47 doesn't target infantry and team weapons, killing them just as effectively, stuka does.
The stuka have also excellent tracking, it'll get to half HP moving IS-2 in a single pass, show me the same being done by P47.
Stuka does what P47 does, except better, cheaper and it does more of it.
One thing that P47 have for them is the sight range, but that is it.
It can one shot 2 full health tanks in one pass. I've never seen a P47 kill a full health axis tank in one pass. |
OKW weak? LMAO. Please, with the T1 assault pios and the kubel, the quick denial of a vital are wins the game in the long run. And the flak truck dying to one AT gun? haahahaha. Like what OKW just leaves the truck to get plinked to death by one AT gun.
Axis over all get more OP as the game length increases. Looking at the game stats, overall wins, and win percentage is proof enough. All the axis lovers who glaze over these OP threads, do tell, why the stronger Axis stats then? A) More people play axis because its OP. B) Few and far between good USF players to give any team games a fighting chance.

of course this game is or at least was p2w, things like elite doctrine, cas, the soviet b4 doctrin, mechanized assault, rifle company (and more) were or are stronger than many other doctrins. most of them are not free. how can anyone argue that this is NOT p2w?
and yeah, you got most of the commanders by playing the game. you played this game for more than 1850 hours. last 2 weeks you played 56 hours overall. now imagine someone who can only play 3 hours a week. he wont get close to getting all commanders, even if he only played coh2.
i bought this game in the beta for the full price and dont want to spend more bucks on it other than on real new multiplayer content.
war spoils are not the problem, relics approach to dlcs is. war spoils made a very greedy system a little better, but it doesnt mean, that the current state is GOOD.

I'm one of the folks who can't play endlessly. Still waiting to get the Recon Commander...got every other commander, and spares of them, but the one. IMO, shoulda gotten all the USF commanders buying Ardennes |
Yea on lower (physics) setting you don't even see a trail and have no idea where it is going.
Super range granade without timer for standard infantry that doesn't need to be resaerched, totally broken imo.
I cannot count the times my maxims got oneshot with 4-5 men remaining.
I hear what people are saying on the micro, but when you're hopscotching all over the map, by the time you hear the *poink* sound of it being launched, you have little time to react.
Also, as said, for a non-tech item, it's a bit buffed. I've had squads wiped in all the covers, even a retreating one which seemed outside the radius of the 'nade.

Axis blob still owns. Use MGs more for anti-inf instead of anti-tank and let the late game Uber-tanks own the game. Pre-patch, Allies could use infantry to counter the anti-tank infantry blob, now it can't. It gets raped by the up-gunned anti-inf blob, then, of course, the late game Axis tanks just rape anything Allies have. |
That also happens on Rails and Metals, you can salvage Panther Wrecks on both sides of the map.
