How'd this degrade to a 4v4 bash?
My original point is the OP nature of one side gets exaggerated more and more in team games the higher (2v2 -> 3v3 -> 4v4 ) you go. It gets to the point that more players move away from the UP side to the OP side preventing any solid foundation of talent, such that the player base and likely hood of getting good players in team game is slim. |
1 AT gun can kill it, as can a SU85. It really isn't the biggest issue with OKW at the moment.
I mean, it's were all of OKW's most valuable units are built from, why should it be defenseless?
Give it a freaking turreted HMG then, not a vehicle/infantry raping auto-cannon. It shouldn't be able to fend off nearly every Allied unit in the game. IMO, at the speed it comes out, should fend off infantry and do mild damage to medium vehicles. Ergo HMG (with AP selection?) Tanks should be able to take it relatively unscathed. |

Here's a breakdown:
Complaining about Obers getting killed by a med. vehicle when said inf unit can't kill said vehicle? Should retreat. Confront med. vehicle with inf unit (volks with shreks) that can kill the med. vehicle. Late game, vetted volks with shreks own everything.

No, I've USF in all modes. I mopped some Prestige 2 in a 1v1; but as said, I like team games more. To get/have a good team mate(s) and have a synergy during game play. Greatness.
And why add to the growing pool of Axis players?

But you kinda answered my whole issue with the game. The only people that play Allies are the folks that don't know any better. They'll consistently get their butts handed to them and once they learn how OP Axis (OKW in particular) is, they'll stay Axis. The pool of talent from Allies is lacking because people don't want to play with a weak, underpowered, micro-intensive side.
Look! OKW gets a starting Pio unit that rapes 2 Riflemen squads? I can blob with shreks and own any single unit in the game? I get super-OP tanks over and over again despite how I mismanage them? Why would anyone want to play as Allies??
Thusly, because of the imbalance, team play suffers on two fronts: Poor player pool which causes losses and the OP side which does nothing help increase said pool. |

No everything must be fixed, keeping bullshit because some other OP in the game exists is a shit argument that I'm tired of seeing everywhere. Relic is shit at balance, so it will never stop. Endless cycle of bullshit. Atleast Obers don't autowipe squads 80-90% of the time upon contact.
Ya, but Obers aren't as fragile and can eventually kill tanks, too. Greyhound can do that?
