The balance in CoH2 for team games just blows. Same SOP for every game: Axis holds the line with OP units until OP vet blob and OP tanks roll out.

Hey Ghost, I read your thread about that damned balance. I had some free time and was bored so I took a quick look at your replay.
First of all let me tell you that you did not have a quite good chance to win this match. I am not a pro-player so please don´t take criticism to serious. In my opinion the reason why you have lost the game was not your own gameplay but mostly the gameplay of your teammates. For example one of your team was only camping on the right VP in the wood and building fuel caches all over the right map even in "hostile" area. He didn´t even participate in the fights in the middle or on the left flank or was supporting you and your mates with flanking on the right. His rifles did nothing until minute 12-14 and at this point you had already lost the game.
All in all it was a fight of 2 US and 1 soviet player vs 4 axis players on the left flank. I even think that it was a 2 vs 4 from time to time. Those axis players did focus on the mid and left VP right from the beginning of the match. Their communication seems to have been much better.
Another reason why you were not able to deal with those masses of blobs was that your team did not have any off-map arty and enough indirect fire units. Your only soviet partner went T1 and than T3 and not T4 for Katyusha. He went Shook Army (?) and built a ML-20 152mm Howitzer at minute 12 which is dicussable in my point of view.
In my opinion some of your teammates were not skilled enough in contrast to the axis players who have much more game experience according to their playercards.
So, don´t be angry. I think with this match up you just had bad luck.

But you kinda answered my whole issue with the game. The only people that play Allies are the folks that don't know any better. They'll consistently get their butts handed to them and once they learn how OP Axis (OKW in particular) is, they'll stay Axis. The pool of talent from Allies is lacking because people don't want to play with a weak, underpowered, micro-intensive side.
Look! OKW gets a starting Pio unit that rapes 2 Riflemen squads? I can blob with shreks and own any single unit in the game? I get super-OP tanks over and over again despite how I mismanage them? Why would anyone want to play as Allies??
Thusly, because of the imbalance, team play suffers on two fronts: Poor player pool which causes losses and the OP side which does nothing help increase said pool.
