+1
1)Nerfing stug but leaving panther like that.
2)Increasing RA of raketenwerfer crew despite they get no cover
3)Ostwind (tier 3 unit) linked to tier 4
4)Panzer 4 still cost inefficient trash
5)Penals were still ultra cost efficient and still got their weapons for free, while the cooldown on the move nerf was really minimal.
6)Mg34 already ridiculously low dps was nerfed hard with nerfed weapon crew, but no compensating buff to suppression/mg dps
7)Jadgpanzer 4 with 185 average pen nerfed AND increased cost.
8)135 fuel jackson with no flaws ever in hp, pen, damage, mobility, all while point 1 and 7
Yeah, completely nonsensical. Especially the raketenwerfer nerf. Don't forget Firefly being an Elefant on steroids, while Jackson could survive 3 shots from Ele.
It was a 'teamgames patch' aka break the game patch
Panther had a better chance to pen against most targets and also had less chance to be penned by allied at
But a lower accuracy and moving accuracy, which balances out. It also had a much lower dps. The Panther has a very, very low at performance. It's there to soak up shots and be a tank, not a damage dealer.
You sure about that? The numbers I got for 75mm kwk42 tell me 7.38 reload + 1.13 cooldown = 8,51 and 8.13 reload + 0.13 cooldown = 8,26 for 76mm sherman firefly. Cooldown is basically reload that doesn't get affected by any modifiers like vet or so.
Fireflys are good Shock TDs. They have an insane nuke damage (Tulip Shock + Main Cannon) but their rate of fire feels like 1 shot per minute. Once the tulips are on CD and the other tank is not so damaged that it has to retreat, you are basically screwed with a single AT in form of a Firefly. One Panther can hold back every other single tank (besides super heavies). Still Fireflies are better tanks than Panthers, this is correct.
But what you are missing is that Panthers still have a lot armor, not as much as they used to have but still it is annoying as hell when you play allies and maybe every third shot if best will penetrate. Keep this also in mind.
The panther has an even longer reload, but 40 less damage, at a much higher cost.
It definitely needs to do more damage per shot. DPS of the Panther is ridiculously low. A Tier 4 175 fuel tank that has bad anti tank and bad anti infantry performance FailFish
I feel USF will never be that good in teamgames because teamgames are 99% about static play, taking one VP/fuel and holding it
Absolutely this, and this is the reason why teamgames will not be balanced. It's simply not what the baseline is laid out for. The units are too squishy and moving forward is too punishing with many guns around.
It also has less scatter than the ostheer mortar and brit mortar pit.
Did some screwing around in cheatmode and even though you're right and frontal hits don't pen that reliably, they still often do (it has something like a 45-48% chance to frontally pen a sherman right?) a lot of shots inflict their splash damage on it and some will hit the rear, especially when they get fired at an extremely high angle for whatever reason. In effect, they will deal more damage to tanks than the penetration values suggest. Not that this is empirical testing in any way, and not that this makes leigs stunningly OP, but it happens. They also actually hit vehicles a lot more than the ost mortar it seems.
This reminds me a lot about how people were complaining about OKW veterancy making them op, then a while later everyone realized veterancy is not even working at all.
Yes, the ISG can damage tanks through penetration. It does, however, not have any deflection damage. Meaning it has to penetrate, unlike all other mortars who will do their damage regardless of penetration or not.
In any case, the Leig as an artillery piece is not even close to being good.
It does miss, but it's AOE is kind of large, so when it misses you still take damage. Direct hits are pretty devastating.
Have you actually looked at it's AOE and other stats before posting this?
It has a smaller aoe than any other mortar, why also being the secondmost expensive, being 10mp cheaper than the 120mm.
