Pls when you read the Patchnotes, then read them complete!

ISG got nerfed as well. Since 1.0 already in FBP.

Or even better: Play the FBP :) Then you would see how strong isg are vs maxims for example :)

What factions you playing and in what game mode?

And like Sturm panther stated there is a mod right now testing all sorts of changes to the game. If you are talking about that then it's a whole other game to answer.

But if you're playing the live game and are struggling against isgs, check out the strategy forums on this site as the ISG has been a constant issue with each iteration it goes through.

Or search in page the correct word as "Le.ig 18" instead of isg :D Found the changes thanks. Glad to see this issue is acknowledged.

Playing 1v1 and 2v2, wanted to play the mod but couldnt see people playing that mod, people have no desire on that mod?

I'd prefer the GrW 42, tbh, or the Nebel as a doctrinal unit. The bigger and heavier the better.

Same reason they gave volks incendiary nades you know cause they cant deal with garrisons with the best super fighting starting unit in the game and kubels, that also repairs KTs to full health or a badly hurt flak uber commando truck in 10 seconds.

It does miss, but it's AOE is kind of large, so when it misses you still take damage. Direct hits are pretty devastating.

Have you actually looked at it's AOE and other stats before posting this?
It has a smaller aoe than any other mortar, why also being the secondmost expensive, being 10mp cheaper than the 120mm.

Near/far:
Ost mortar: 1/3
USF mortar: .75/3
Sov small mortar: 1/3
Sov bic boi mortar: 1.5/4.5
OKW leig: .75/2.25
UKF mortar: 1/3

the Leig also gets the smallest aoe damage multiplier.


Lolol. Don't forget it pens tanks too.


The chance for that is lower than an SU-76 chances of penetrating a KT frontal plate at max range

It also has less scatter than the ostheer mortar and brit mortar pit.

Did some screwing around in cheatmode and even though you're right and frontal hits don't pen that reliably, they still often do (it has something like a 45-48% chance to frontally pen a sherman right?) a lot of shots inflict their splash damage on it and some will hit the rear, especially when they get fired at an extremely high angle for whatever reason. In effect, they will deal more damage to tanks than the penetration values suggest. Not that this is empirical testing in any way, and not that this makes leigs stunningly OP, but it happens. They also actually hit vehicles a lot more than the ost mortar it seems.

ISG never squad wipes like other mortars and cost you 9POP. I always feel like OKW have very little indirect fire which is whole another subject. I would like to give everyone almost same mortar like MG. No one is bitching that vickers are stronger then MG42.

Because they are not. They only do more damage. But in terms of suppression, the Vickers is far inferior to the MG42.
