how about once all OKW trucks are deployed, ST-pios get acess to a timed repair boost +25 faster rep for 10-15 seconds?
repair truck is not something that breaks the game, if there are 2+ mech-trucks parked together in teamgames yes, it becomes a hassle, but also very exposed if out in the field, either keep it back in base, which is fine for faster tanks, but if you gotta drive slow or engine-crippled tanks back to repair them, its a pain in the ***.
If deployed in the field, its a prime target for hit and run dives or artillery.
repair trucks are a bonus to have, but not a replacement for ST-pios, and getting 2 ST-pio's is 600MP and 16 pop, high cost. |
would love some more variation of the USF stock armour, know they didnt have alot of different tanks/td's.
how about an option like the UKF gets to choose between AEC and Bofors or hammer and anvil. M4E3 or M4-105, M4-76 or M4-E8.
shermans are a big part of ww2, shame they don't get the love they deserve IMHO. And meta is jacksons.
on a side note, what if the USF could get pershing the same way OKW gets their KT?

it has higher price,timing and popcost to match its performance.
but thats the only drawback it has, in almost all other aspects, its got the edge over its peers, save for stuka, which has more concentrated strike.
but where it really shines is the commander urban assault
I had a random 4v4 match week-2 ago, played the urban assault commander vs 3 ost and 1 okw i think it was, i went bananas with rangers+zooks and callipoe's.
went 4 rangers +zooks total 12 zooks.
went 3 calliope's.
with major,rear echelon and ambulance. think that was all.
i just placed some mines around for dives by enemy just in case, but they never got that far :-)
it was completely one-sided, they got elefants, brumbars, panthers, continuosly wore them down with cali's, and wiped even brumbars in 1 salvo from rangerzooks.think there was 2 brummbars and a ostwind there, wiped them with losing 1 of 4 ranger squads
the PZwerfers i simply evaded with the smoke+speed call-in when i pushed in.
mg's, mg-bunkers and mines i bypassed with with smoke+speed call-in and ''mine-clearing'' with cali's.
counterblobs slaughtered before they even got close to my rangerzooks push by cali's.
and AA protection was a SOV quad AA closest to me, stopping all attempts at off-map attacks.

to make su-76 different, i think we have to look at t70,su-76 and su-85 at the same time.
-T70 cannot be changed dramatically before it is either UP or OP, due to timing.
-SU-76 which is lacking a more defined role currently, not a bad tank for price, but timing is good for combined AT
-SU-85, the most desirable AT option, can SU-85 come later to make SU-76 more viable? or do people feel its absolutely vital the moment SU-85 comes out?
could SU-85 be given a moderately expensive upgrade that needs purchasing in the tank itself, to give it the vaunted vision mode? to make SU-76 come into its own role until the SU-85 reaches its full combat capacity?
or perhaps make it so that ONLY 1 SU-85 can be ''command SU-85'' and get the forward vision? so that it will make players less reliant on them? |
static arty needs a role/function ingame. and like all things, can be countered and destroyed, its hisk risk, high reward play.
-b4 is counter for alot (RNG willing)
-lefh main purpose is counter arty
-while ml-20 lacks flavour, it is a run-of-the-mill static arty, and could use something to make it more viable in the meta. |

These facts are known to me, im talking about something that survives 2 AT shot, with gun and speed to go dive/spot arty, something that is between 222 and pz4/ostwind

Is the fact that OST has so many recon+offmap due to OST lacking a cheap,durable and quick scouting option non-doc? soviet, OKW and brit get cheap and durable options for finding/killing whats behind enemy lines, (don't count the stuart as it is rather slow?)puma,t70 and aec. all those need 3 shots to get taken down.
If OST was given a similar non-doc unit to get the job done, perhaps it would be time to discuss the excess of recon+offmap commanders?
perhaps at t3-t4 give the 222 the option to upgrade to give it more hp/armour like the USF m20?

rambling here, but how about early game for OKW to gets smoke nades that needs researching at t2, with shorter throwing range than its peers, needing 2 volks to chain smoke their way to walk up to/flank a mg? |
concerning Jaeger doc, its perhaps not balanced properly, but as the current meta is, it needs it, and many players like me, feel punished if we don't go that doctrine, something else needs to be balanced before this doc gets balanced.
and regarding the 3 static arty pieces, everyone of them can be killed with offmap/dives etc.
static arties is always a risk, just like everything else in the game.
but the big question here is how we make the ML-20 great again |
