oh well, worth a try |
would like the M4A3(76), if introduced as stock, not to be nerfed, wouldn't think it would, its not OP |
I simply find USF too predictable, with few valid doctrines/tactics, which most of us know the counter to.
and getting jacksons is one VERY (but great) predictable move.
Just want a viable AT alternative to jacksons.
how about:
nerf standard m4's AI dmg, reduce price MP to 300 and 90-100 fuel, and from 12 to 10 POP? sort of like the SOV T-34/76, and introduce the M4A3(76) as the stock generalist? with perhaps a touch buff to rate of fire? buff armour a touch? to make it perform closer to E8 and pz4? |
its my cocaine, and due to your comment, im not sharing any with you |
Might have posted this earlier, dont remember.
I feel there is too little sherman types available stock, there are 5 variations available? but 80% is doctrinal. This sexy tank needs more representation ingame.
There are:
-M4 standard
-M4 bulldozer 105
-M4 standard bulldozer + WP
-M4A3(76)
-M4A3E8 (easy eight)
Is there a way to implement more as stock, what if there was an option like for UKF to get either bofors or AEC.
An idea might be to have 1 extra type of sherman that needs ''unlocking'' to access stock, though i feel getting M4A3E8 and M4 105 bulldozer stock might be a tad overkill.
So a choice between M4 standard bulldozer + WP OR M4A3(76), you pick one to unlock, and lock out the other like the UKF does with their bofors OR AEC.
both of these tanks, if became stock, would have to be buffed/nerfed accordingly
#shermansmattertoo |
think making scott doctrinal might be a nice idea, don't know which doctrine it should go into though, but getting a new commander for USF would be nice.
as it is, USF has 3 mortar types stock, trade 1 of those in for a stock (though heavily nerfed calliope to bring it more in line with its peers) |
SupremeStefan.
I appreciate your input but:
since urban assault has the smoke thing that makes infantry move faster, hitting 3x rangerzooks with werfer that already has a notable delay between firing and impact, makes it EASY to dodge/spread infantry out.
plus pzgrens shreks get slaughtered by calliopes with barely a second warning before impact.
other useful tips would be welcome |
Osttruppen are OP, they are just like Rambo, they don't need them, they are awesome |
FireflyAT.
must confess i struggle alot against Urban thingamjig doctrine, while playing OST.
say USF has 3x Rangers+zooks and 3x calliopes, how would you deal with the calliopes as OST? |
its easy to see those that don't play OKW in the thread. or not play game at all :-)
it not rare i see okw players bouncing around, wasting time and resources, trying to find a weakspot in enemy lines due to MG's. while enemy is sucking up resources and teching up, while OKW is still at basic infantry level.
like ullumulu says, OKW needs a anti-MG mechanic, personally think regular smoke for sturmpioneers, or ''short range'' smoke for volksgrens, meaning you have to use atleast 2 volksgrens to smoke their way up to a mg, to be a relatively fair buff.
