it needs to be at 2 CP, not 3. At 3 CP there might be too many grens/volks ATG's or 222 to make it worthwhile for super-clowncar run |
im an average player, play 80-90% ~ WEHR.
some time ago, i decided to only play airborne commander in 4v4 randoms, and i know MM is fickle, but i jumped from low rank up to level 15-16, only playing Airborne, until i started getting my ass handed to me (completely normal).
If i as an average joe, can do that well with airborne, there must be something wrong.
Edit:
Note that i know that pathspam is sometimes essential to combat axis long range inf. But this commander simply has the best synergy of troops and call ins in the game.

airborne and overwatch both need tuning.
i feel overwatch has better synergy with stock OKW units, compared to airborne/USF.
JLI+Obers is very comparable to paths/paras. But one needs to sink in huge amounts of muni and manpower in airborne to make it work proper, while overwatch pretty much has what it needs from the start.
perhaps JLI needs an upgrade barrier, like 60 muni for sniping and cloak, to even out the spam.
-goliaths are only an issue when smoked in towards an emplacement.
-For the fatherland is a bonus, but not anything great.
-105 lefh is nice
-sector assault feels strong for sure, is it stronger than its peers? or is it just a copy when it comes to DMG? as allied tanks have less HP?
nerf JLI/paths by max 1-2 units on field, and give upgrade barrier to JLI.
im on the fence regarding sector assault, some commanders always end up on bottom/top no matter what balance department does. |
waste of thread space |
still think M8 would be better to have stock, than stuart, atleast against OST. |
- better AI than stuart.
- less AT power
- Cheaper and call in
- 4 CP = too late for lv.
- better recon than stuart
- shotgun ability is bit risky but worth it.
do you think a swap between them would be better? make it come out earlier than stuart, where it might actually have an impact, how is it against a luchs? thats gotta be its primary competition |
sounds alot better to swap m8 with stuart, stuart is ''fine'' (except a lot of things) but most go for m4 anyway, 70 fuel for a stopgap is too much.
haven't played m8 in a long time, how is the stats and price compared to the stuart?

Agree with OP.
I like that some things/factions etc are easier to play in games, so that average joe's like me can enjoy it. And that other things/factions require more micro and tactics to properly function/enjoy. Gives games more flavour.
Problems arise like in COH2 when a faction is actually better, regardless of skill level.
How to fix it im not entirely sure.
But i do know that pz4 needs a nerf :-)

for what it does, i feel its too expensive, with no particular role.
isn't it 70 fuel? if so make it 55-60 fuel |
KT sure is a tough nut to crack, but its ''balanced'' with its slow speed and turret rotation.
On a side note, think USF would benefit from getting the OKW treatment with getting pershing stock, perhaps buffed/nerfed to fit into stock unit selection |
