in 4v4, allies has option to get twice as many different artillery to field.

How about if Guards were tech, put in HQ, and would be unlocked after first building is built, but LMG,ppsh or PTRS would be available to upgrade to when second building is built, similar to OST PzGrens. |
speaking of OST non-doc infantry, since in larger gamemodes, extra infantry isnt always prioritized, since there are so many doctrines that the team ''needs''. And VSL,OSTT, assgrens etc. come in doctrines that have limited long-game usage.
So that leaves 2 options for non-doc OST, grens are meh, that means Pgrens needs to kick ass and chew bubblegum, period. |
over-reliance on grens is fast route to defeat.
if you lose your pio-squad early, getting T2 would be postponed, especially if fighting gets fierce, and needing to prioritize mg, mortars or grens.
how about they come out as they currently do, but arrive with 50/50 K98 and STG44? and when T2 is built, STG44 upgrade is free for whole squad? |
with the possibility of facing 3 factions that has an abundance of artillery, the few artillery left to axis needs something up its sleeve to counter this, until something else of similar value is presented to axis artillery, i think counter-arty needs to be where its at. |

i like the idea of truppen starting out as a 5man squad.
maybe after BP1 is unlocked, you can upgrade to 6th man for 30 muni? like the gren can upgrade to mg42 LMG
or alternatively when T3 is built. give truppen a VSL with G43 for 45-60 muni, should give truppen a touch more offensive power? |
OST and SOV suffer from below average infantry non-doc, would like both factions to have an extra infantry added non-doc honestly.
regarding osttruppen, its a fine line between OP and useless, out of all the options available, i would prefer a longer call in wait compared to today, 30-35 seconds compared to todays 25.
when you build T1, grens are just 40mp higher, which are better in just about all regards, and scale better.
HQ is very busy the first 5mins of the game, adding osttruppen to HQ would be forcing the OST player to make priorities, which may be a good thing too, but this could go both ways.

regarding the -23 recieved accuracy removal on the Veteran Squad Leader, it feels a touch too much, in the sense that VSL is what the whole ''german infantry doctrine'' is all about, VSL is highly debatable, but i think now the doctrine itself is in danger, as the rest of it's abilites is nothing special.
would there be a compensation for the VSL nerf, in the doctrine? since it sacrifices late-game performance for early gain.
while allied factions can blanket the map in decent infantry non-doc, the VSL being the equal of all the mainline infantry, gets nerfed?
