you sure? i've watched him miss. at least i think i have...
Yep, the brit sniper has 100% accurancy against garrisons. But some soldiers that are in the building may have lower recived accurancy resulting in a miss. Also sometimes you just can see a noob shooting at the building, which is always funny
Mind that all snipers have accurancies over 100% when shooting at non garrisoned soldiers, so recived accurancy doesn't help there. It does help if you also have retreat bonus though. |
If you want realism, a panther should one shot a sherman. That's not the point. In the game, a panther will still easily have the advantage over a sherman but you won't lose the sherman in the blink of an eye. Same should go for these expensive mines.
So a tank should also drive over mine multiple times to trigger it? |
I think 1770 HP for teller would be enough
and 1200 for sov and shue mines
btw it would be good that they have 20 mm canon on top of it
If something has 1770HP it deserves 88mm gun
@OP mines generally explode when pressure of the ground over them is more than set value. This value must be high enough not to allow soldiers trigger it, but allow tanks and heavy vehicles. In game, even light cars trigger mines so it is set really low. Do you really think that mortar shell exploding doesn't create enough pressure to trigger such mine? How stupid would it look like if such shell, that not only pressures ground like a tank, but also creates crater deeper than the usual depth of mine placing wouldn't trigger mine it hits? Think about it. |
Its pretty funny that you even ask. The game is highly depopulated becouse of everybody waiting for the patch. Including myself ofc. |

if you include buying a monitor and a keyboard for the normal rig, its about right.
I guess it depends how costly are the peripherials somebody uses. I normally use keyboard ment for programming not gaming so its pretty dirt cheap, and a 40 euro mouse. I also use HD monitors and these are really cheap right now.
But if somebody would want to buy really expensive gaming mouse and mechanichal gaming keyboard plus the 4K monitor then all the peripherials could cost much more than the PC itself and then the half price estimate would be true. On the other hand, if you would like to have same gaming performance on laptop you would still need to buy all 3 of these on top of it... The mouse is a must if somebody wants to play games and laptop monitor + laptop keyboard combo is not comfortable even if most expensive of laptops. |
What relic fixed is stun nades stunning and stopping soldiers when hit during retreat. What they didn't change is the inability to reatreat while the soldier is stunned. The other thing is that sometimes soldiers have a little retreat lag so if you react too late they may still get cought after you hit the button just becouse they decided not to retreat yet. Normally you wouldn't probably notice that but in case of this nade it makes huge difference. |

honestly, for 1500$ you can get a pretty beastly rig already. i5 6600k, gtx 1070 (after it has dropped a little in price), 16 gigs ram, good psu.
for gaming laptops:
they suck. you can get a pc with the same power for half the price
but if you really want one: where are you planning to buy it? i have no clue which english sites are good for that, therefore point me in the direction and i will have a look
I'll just add that half the price is very optimistic estimate. In most cases its half of the performance of PC for twice the amount of money. This can seen in this very same scratchedpaintjob post. There are many laptops that cost significantly more than 1500$, but there is no laptop on the market that is even remotly close in performance to 6600k and gtx 1070 combo. |
Im mature enough for not to be insulted by words of unknown for me people in internets It's sometimes even fun, to see rageburst of your opponents, when they lose, it only forcing you to win more and more.
And as I said - there are billion of other ways how to trigger your opponent with insults. Nazi-behavior is kinda popular for that, for example. It's way more effectve, than writing curse words, but curse words are banned, and nazi-words aren't. Logic?
Btw: money doesn't smell. Guess SEGA knows it really good.
I really don't care if someone I play against is a nazi, communist, belives in reptilian or chemitrails or whatever. It doesn't affect me in any way becouse its his problem, not mine. But once he starts shittalking me, it becomes my problem. Just becouse he says it directly to me. And I think the current system is not enough. It makes the words funnier but after a while I read exactly what the other person ment, not what relic shows me just becouse it can be deducted from censored statement. So in fact any random player I happen to play against can make me read whatever he desires. I said he can make me read that becouse it appeares in the middle left of screen and is perfectly visible for a long time, as opposed to for example in-game notifications. There should be an option to simply block chat with opponents (the team chat is worth seeing and often constructive). |
The conclusion "stay away from the consoles" is my life motto
As a side note I tried to play wfa version of coh2 on IntelHD once. It was much worse than this video. Not only 10-15fps on lowest settings and 0.66 resolution but also some textures don't load at all on lowest settings so for example usf rifles look as if they were in white winter uniforms in summer |
PIAT is more late game AT than anti light vehicle rush, I prefer Tank Hunter Section or AEC + 6-pounder. Also people keeps forget about mines: always lay mines when you have surplus muni, especially for Soviet and UK who don't normally get good AT, a light vehicle run into a mines is usually a death sentence for it.
It is. PIAT can do it though if you can micro it well enough. Attacking super heavies with PIAT is easy, they are really slow. Damaging luchs takes some serious path predictions so it is not advised for players who can't spare their apm. |
