You will never surrive the first 15 minutes without STGs. K98 Volks get destroyed so hard by 5 men Tommies, Penals, Guards, Shocks, Bar Riflemen, etc etc To take away STGs from OKW means to kill the entire faction. No way around it. I would disagree Most top players barely prioritize StG even against penals or upgraded Tommies. It much easier to put the muni into flame nades and win engagements early Then there's the whole mech truck P2 meta and throw in the odd MG you don't need StG at all. Actually watch some Von Ivan and he puts all his muni into memes like golliaths instead and still volks hold the line Volks are good due to their cheapness and utility not StG In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 15 minute Tiger/Tiger Ace in 4v421 Jun 2019, 21:56 PM One could argue the game IS stale due to med spam, at least in 1vs1 it's pointless most of the time to do anything but rush medium armor and spam your Cromwell's etc until critical mass. Tiger changes are problematic because only Axis reap the benefits instead of touching tigers in a heavy focused patch. Now if heavies are tied to tech and keep command points the Pershing/command panther/IS-2/croc etc would be better suited to 9-10. No one really wants to wait 30 mins+ into the game to use a tiger or IS-2 when the average game is already decided by then Maybe place sturmtiger and AVRE at 8 or 9 Otherwise you will be making heavies unicorns with such late timing In: COH2 Balance

It's impossible to suffer random mortar wipes anymore try using pgrens, grens are not your only squad to deal with cqb squads. And i was very busy in RL, so we missed this "problem" for teamgames. Is there any interest in the balance team for a tank focussed patch? I've played like a thousand 3v3s and 4v4s just like 2v2s and 1v1s, and those 3v3 and 4v4 always were and artyllery clusterfuck from mortars at start to Katy's/LEFH at the end. There, where Tiger could face a horde of Jacksons is no place for this kind of unit, expecially when it is limited by 1. You could see a panther hordes instead, early brummbars or PIV spam like it happened regularly before this patch. There is gone like 2 or 3 days afterpatch. Of course people are starting to complain, because there is so much new things for every faction. Volks are already screaming about ostwind and pgrens, and there somewhere should be a scream from OKW facing SMG-tommies and cheap british TDs and AA. Just try to adopt before starting to complain, really. After week or two of bugfix patch, maybe after a big tournament where new meta will be shown, we could already really know what is requring a nerf or buff. In an ideal world heavy costs and timings would be adjusted for the resource inflation of teamgames. But sadly in coh2 that's not possible. In: COH2 Balance
