They are literally in the same class. Both 60 range TDs, just jagdpanzer gets defensive vet while FF vet is offensive. JP is the best nondoc counter to British heavy tanks axis have. It eats Churchill's for breakfast better than panther or StuG. And it also beats FF head on in 1vs1 due to superior DPS. So there's not much logic OKW having cheaper vehicle popcap when their repairs need one Sturm at most (thanks to mech truck) while Brits you're looking at multiple RE squads In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Feedback for winter preview18 Feb 2020, 16:56 PM Churchill's are certainly mediocre in the current meta All they needed was a slight fuel increase, not their pop increased so much that you can't afford the extra REs to repair them. (Really it's difficult to balance with Brits especially when five man increases popcap across the board, meanwhile USF and OKW laughing at you with their more pop effective repairs). The pop increase was fine with comet because it's role in the game is not to be a damage sponge repairing half it's life. Different units need to be balanced differently if they are judged too cost effective. In the current meta they are just vet sponges for tigers anyway. Revert Churchill nerf and bring FF pop into line with other TDs like jagdpanzer. AA tanks could also use being one pop less to encourage their use over medium spam. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Change to Airlanding officier17 Feb 2020, 07:08 AM I would like to see the combat bonuses on charge removed but it given longer sprint time. You could also make it a bit cheaper. This would keep it as a flanking tool for Mg's and mobile play. Less so a get a big blob and charge into enemy ability. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Commandos vs 222´s17 Feb 2020, 06:39 AM I'm sorry but you must have the micro power of a snail if you are losing 222 health to a cqb squad. Either sit at mid range or drive in and bully them so they can't fire back. 222 is much more forgiving vs small arms than the UC, dodge or M3. Those can be pushed back into retreating by a single sturm. In: COH2 Balance

G43 Panzerfusiliers have 11,6 DPS at 35 range. Problem with using raw Tommy DPS stats is actually they have two stats. In cover and nerfed out of cover brens. On the defensive yes they're going to have the cover bonus most of the time and out DPS grens or BAR rifles at range. But on offense unless you get lucky with shell holes for every squad you're going to have weaker bren DPS. This is not true for pfuss, rifles, grens (which actually perform OK on offense with rifle nade), penals etc. This is the main reason Brits struggle on offense even when Tommies had stronger RA. Now that RA was nerfed last patch we saw the house of cards finally collapse. The officer and buffed doctrinal tools like ass sections and glider infantry can be the answer to this problem. But the officer probably needs a slight early game buff. In: COH2 Balance

Can we remove the garrison requirement and put a munition cost on it, like zis barrage? About 35-40 muni per use ? The whole garrison bonus system has been made little effect for long. It's not worth it for 40ammo, but devs need to be careful with buffing emplacements because some really average players cheesed their way to top fourty before just by putting Bofors and pit together in the centre of maps. The USF have been able to use medics as a 'capping squad' since they launched. They even get a transport to drive around in. Nobody does it because it is a moronic idea, stop waving around your 'But what if-' hypothecating and actually think for one second about what you are proposing. As for the old comparisons to USF rifle smoke - No. Absolutely no. 1) USF could smoke grenade with every single squad. UFK have a golbal cooldown, as well as longer time for the smoke to land. 2) Getting close was better for the USF as rifles have good close quarters power, and BARs that are improvements for CQC. Tommies are a long range squad, their weapon upgrade is a long range LMG that has to be stationary, and they have to be in cover to even fight cost effectively. It's been this way for years, any talk of a Tommy buff and suddenly certain posters retch in horrow about "Brit blobs". Yet many of these same posters are quiet about buffs to ostheer or American infantry, the two darling vcoh factions. UKF and to a lesser extent Sov and OKW catch a lot more flak for this reason. People scared about the "mobile nature" of medics to me is laughable, for one the faction lacks a half-track or ambo to actually reinforce models. In: Lobby

See what tightrope has to say on the subject. Again the issue is not if the unit should be introduced but how should it be designed. I can't take you seriously sometimes when you just ignore people's posts and their point, and you instead focus on specific wording instead of the argument. But I will explain to you. CQB is the same as close range, CQB is an acronym for close quarters combat. Pgrens perform great in CQB, they also have the benefit of being able to dish out DPS at mid range. So yes Ostheer do have a unit that can fight in CQB. In: Lobby

It's a lot of investment for something so vulnerable, glider is even worse than the OKW truck in that regard. Maybe go ahead with the automatron medics like others have said and make it a HQ upgrade.
