I see you are a master 1v1 player. When was the last time a good player used it on you and failed? I've spent maybe hundreds of hours analysing top streamers and casters from Siberian, vonivan, helpinghans, stormless, jove, tightrope, Korean army etc. As well as AE for comedic effect. Most of these at times have responded to my questions and offered advice in chat. Obviously I am no pro, but due to this I am more knowledgeable than most. Or according to you "disconnected to reality". Well you're disconnected from being able to discuss apart from personal attacks buddy. I've never had a problem with it because it is quite easy to counter, try building tanks other than a tiger. Soviet airborne is probably the most average doctrine going now SVTs got a hefty nerf. The claim is another of your threads is a hyped up fit over nothing. If this terrible apparently uncounterable "cheese" of airborne was so popular we wouldn't see luvnest and co insta locking Soviet armored, shock rifle or anything else with a big tank at the end. Well Mr Vipper read what I wrote again and then you might want to clarify what you take issue with. There's a bit of a difference between using ram, and then selecting a doctrine for IL2 ram and banking muni to make it your entire strategy. The former I quite clearly agree that it's used, quite well against tiger stalls. The latter I doubt any top players touch with a bargepole when money is involved. Ram + rockets strafe should be viable and effective, but not a brainless 2 clicks without the opponent having any chance of counterplay. This is why clown car with snipers was killed, because there was no counterplay. Forcing you to first damage a tank before you ram it would allow the opponent to play conservatively and keep his distance to avoid getting rammed. Surely the counterplay is building mobile tanks like the P4s that eat 76s alive rather than a big slow ram target. I've never seen luvnest or any other top 10 player lose to this. Bar the first week of overwatch arty release when Jove was abusing it and it caught heavy stallers off guard. And that was more to do with how prenerf overwatch arty was destroying engines with the first or second shell. In: Lobby
Thread: IL2 AT rocket strafe3 Mar 2020, 07:53 AM The doctrine doesn't need anymore nerfs until it's mobile defense 2.0 CoH2 will always have cheese, think of CoH like a ham and cheese sub, cheese in part is what makes the sandwich (CoH2) delicious (fun) and will always be there. The hard part is just keeping the balance so the cheese doesn't melt everywhere overpowering the other ingredients of the sandwich and ruining your nice dress shirt. Not necessarily all to be implemented. After T4 is been built. -Pios to 5 man. Reduce squad popcap by 1 to 0 to remain the same as now (it's 5 popcap, 1 per model + 1 on squad). Non doctrinaly late game they would have a unit which can cap/scout without getting obliterated as well as more easily recrewing support weapons and repair vehicles. -Reduce popcap on support units/Pio. Same as before, but in this case Pios goes from 5 to 4 as they remain a 4 model. MG42/Mortar goes from 6 to 5 Pak40 goes from 7 to 6 Sniper from 9 to 7 Unrelated to the late game on OH. Bunkers Cost of construction goes from 150 to 50mp. MG/Medic upgrade now cost 100mp on top of their munition cost Now we can MAYBE see people build bunkers as cover AND maybe we can adjust the cost of command post separately. Team weapons and engies could probably use a pop reduction across the board, then stuff like shrek sturms would be seen for once rather than volk spam. Brits suffer too when all those +1 bolstered squads reach the late game and you're effectively punished for keeping bolstered squads alive as you can hardly fit in any late game armor. It was so easy for me to reach a high rank in 3v3s in just a few games and my 3v3 rank is basically the same as my 1v1 rank as Ost. Yes offense, team game players, on average can't compete with 1v1 players. Team game players, specifically 3v3 and 4v4, don't flank as often, are less capable of strategic thinking due to 1/3 to 1/2 of the maps being too small for strategy and map control to be important. In other words, team game players don't need to worry about macro, they only know how to micro. As well, their build orders are more rigid and they don't like to adapt or respond to an opponent's build order. CoH2 was NEVER balanced to a 4v4 player whether or not 4v4 is the most popular game mode. Most 4v4 players aren't worth listening to. I'm officially done talking to you. 4vs4 requires just as much skill as 1vs1, if anything it requires more knowledge about the game because of how powerful certain abilities can be when combined with allies. Previous tournaments have proven this where top 1vs1 twitch streamers have struggled against good 4vs4 AT teams. I mean if you want to set up a thread calling for good 4vs4 mains to 1vs1 you I'm sure most would happily give you a game to test your extra "flanking" skills that team players lack. In: COH2 Balance

The impact of having a lv that can wipe that quick basically shuts down all side capping until you have a puma or med tank. ATG or shreks just don't cut it where as zooks are usually enough to fight off a luch. There's no doubt it carries the Soviet midgame but the unit at vet3 is crazy. You could nerf that without effecting Soviet balance too much at earlier timing. In: COH2 Balance
