I never mentioned anything about returning resources for unsetup, that was your own assumption so I see no reason to blame me for it.

It isn't as easy as you think. Simply allowing to unsetup would have to return resources. Which is very abusable. On top of that, both of your propositions make okw stronger, which is unwanted after all the ballance fine tuning we got. And yes, it is your preference as most people agree coh1 brits were the worst designed faction in history of coh2. Nobody wants them back. People even got scared by the okw just when they saw okw has some forward setup trucks becouse they thought it is going to be as bad as coh1 brits.

Yes it's as "easy" as I think because I know how modding works, you don't. And unsetup is not an active ability, the whole deploy ability would be the same as the USF Ambulance's lockdown toggle ability just with animations, again, something which you can't even comprehend.

And I have seen absolutely zero complaints of the British HQ trucks apart from people trolling by putting them in a corner which could be easily fixed by counting non deployed buildings as a loss for the user, but I agree that their design needed some rework.

And you need to go to some anger management because you have some issues, I even have your other reply to me from another topic which is full of passive aggressiveness as well.

I think this is a good QoL change:

sWS Halftracks can no longer be called in, instead you can call in a Med HQ, Mech HQ and Flakpanzer HQs which can deploy and undeploy anywhere on the map.

It fixes several design issues with the OKW:

No more being able to make a sWS after all HQs have been setup, I've done this multiple times in order to have a quick replacement if I lose an HQ truck.

No more cheap canceling of an HQ truck's deployment if it becomes under fire to get back resources.

Gives the option to players to adapt to the situation with their trucks instead of regretting their decisions on where to place their HQ truck for the rest of the game.

Rather frustrating that, innit?

With the Jackson being able to tank as a tank destroyer, there aren't a whole lot of roles left for USF tanks. Due to the Jackson there's really only anti-infantry duty (Scott, HE Sherman), an even higher degree of durability (Pershing), or being cheap/expendable in relation to axis units (M10). (And unfortunately the M10 is now 'too little, too late' to even fill that role well.) I find that for any USF commander you either want SP Artillery (Calliope or Priest) or a Pershing to support your roster lategame. Everything else in the doctrines are just for shits and giggles. Also, Jacksons and Scotts are still just as sick of a duo as they've ever been. Everyone talks Jacksons and Shermans but the Scott is a goddamned indirect fire sniper.

Ultimately I wish the EZ8 weren't a separate model from the stock sherman. It'd be great if the EZ8 were an upgrade rather than a unit. Either a global one like the CoH1 76mm upgrade, or as an individual 'upgun'. You know, trade in shell switching for a more accurate (model sniping) gun with better penetration, but little to no AoE.

It could even find a home in a variety of commanders or actually be a stock upgrade.

If possible it would probably look weird.

I think it's better to use the 76 Sherman as an upgrade instead because it also has the same hull as the regular Sherman, the E8 does not.

I hope that the team is more responsive to replacing the Sturmtiger after the tournament. The Sturmtiger deserves a fair chance even if want to see him replaced by Tiger I. I think a poll about this would be important to get an impression where the community stands.

I'd still like to see the Sturmtiger turned into an SPG to be honest, even if it gets replaced in Elite Armor. I mean it's rocket did have a range of about 3 or 4 miles if I remember correctly in real life.

Turning it into a mobile B4 that could be taken out easily if not protected after firing would make it a risk vs reward unit with which I don't see anything wrong with really. And it's short range combined with the MG revealing it early and the projectile hitting objects doesn't help either, even if it can now move while reloading straight off the bat, it would be a bigger risk than just getting a KT and not bothering with the unit at all.

With the range it would gain if it were turned into an SPG the risk vs reward factor would be 50/50 somewhat, while right now it's more like 70/30 if not more % chance of you actually losing the ST because it's close to the front lines and because it's slow you can't really move it to your base sector to reload and then come back when you really need it and if we're honest here, you'll never use the unit in a 1v1 unless you really feel cheeky or see that your opponent is in a hopeless situation and just want to have some fun.

I personally would not use it over the KT in it's current state in a team game where I believe it will have a bigger chance to be seen and used. I mean sure, you'll have the backing of your team, but still, a well executed and coordinated strike would take it out no matter what you do, I've lost many vetted STs this way because even the smallest of error is taken advantage of by the enemy, after which I just say fuck it and solely rely on my KT.
