Also, it dips into the whole thing with why the Not One Step Back commander didn't release, being contrary to the general sense of unit preservation to the game. In: COH2 Balance

It would pretty much depend on whether the model is already animated to be weaponless, which I'm not sure (Anyone ever see a Grenadier in the campaign not carry any weapons?). Well, the G43s more or less follow the theoretical model. PFs' don't even improve their max-range DPS by 10%. In: COH2 Balance

With equal vet (which, unfortunately, PGs will usually take some time to have), PGs reliably win against Riflemen regardless of their weapons when they're both at least at mid-range. In: Lobby

Their odds of beating LMG42 Grens at max-range without vet aren't bad despite how 240 MP + 60 Muni should be worth more than 300 MP. In: COH2 Balance
