The unit might or might not be Op, but there is nothing "minor" to specific 4 buffs and 2*far AOE buff. If you want to compare it whit mortars you have to keep in mind that it uses lower trajectory so projectiles have less travel time and are better against moving targets. Has a barrage range of 80. Is more mobile. Can not be countered by mortars and can pop smoke to counter direct fire. In: COH2 Balance

M8 Motor Carriage • AOE mid modifer from 0.15 to 0.25 • AOE far modifier from 0.05 to 0.10 • Build-time from 80 seconds to 50 seconds. • Health from 320 to 400 Firespark has along history of posting after researching his topic and backing up his claims with valid arguments. Even when I find myself disagreeing with him his posts are solid. He has also actively helped in the overall balance of this game for a very long time. No need to also remove smoke from rifles. The reduced range affects frag grenades but smoke grenades are affected far less because they do not have to land on the HMG to be effective. I would argue that the change has nerfed infantry using frag grenades but infantry using smoke grenades are nearly untouched. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The Essential Infantry Balance30 Apr 2016, 17:52 PM When it comes to small arms weapons flat increase in DPS is all ranges are generally bad. Small arm weapons should have an optimal range where they perform better and also have range that do perform that good. Buffs and nerf to weapon should also follow similar rules and buff the DPS at specific range. Damage, accuracy and ROF should also follow similar rules with weapon for far range doing more damage but firing slower. In: COH2 Balance

Flamer have longer effective range then ppsh, if there were no ppsh, it would be easier to smoke out of cover and gun down infantry(lesson from elite rifle learned here). Moreover, penals are squishy squad, so going for the upgrade isn't really a no-brainer and is purely situational choice, its often better to not buy the package to utilize long range potential, which is completely lost with package. After stubbornly insisting in his proposal of double max DPS for pages, he finally sees the light... The upgrade is actually not worth 90 munitions (almost not worth it at all, maybe for 1 squad maybe in urban maps). In: COH2 Gameplay

Hit it once with something else or double faust it and crush isn't a problem anymore. The fact that there answer to crush humans does not mean that thing are fine and should not be improved. By adding a small stun or slow to AT snares one solve the issue very easily... In: COH2 Balance

Not really since one need multiple snares hits to cause engine damage (and can still crush infantry). Further more USF crew can fix the damage in matter of seconds and at a very low price. Thread: WC51 = Scoutcar 222 according to cost28 Apr 2016, 12:07 PM Although both units might need to have their cost changed you agreements are rather weak. WC51 is T0 transport, 222 is T2 armored car... I would rather have the 221 back with hmg with lots of penetration and upgun available to 222 that would cost around 10-15 fuel. Or that 222's gun become a Ballistic weapon with lower accuracy but collision. (require T3 research maybe?) In: COH2 Balance
