For me this war spoils system is a bonus,i have no expectations.It wasn't there earlier and now taht its there is just a extra.If u get something thats good luck.Too much expectations is downfall.I play just like before..enjoy with what i have. |
I don't know if you've ever played OKW, but they have 100% normal manpower income and all the infantry based AT they need to compensate for the fuel/muni.
They have limited access to tanks. Tanks ain't all that compared to basic infantry with shrecks.
And what compensates for their brutal fuel and muni penalty?Also raketen and shreck are both rather defensive short ranged AT also with limited penetration,not suited to the endgame at all.Even ostheer and americans have same infantry based AT in RPGs and at guns..doesn't mean they get 2/3rd income..so ur point is moot. |

As for 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4-they will always be spam fests regardless of balance..if u want finesse don't play those modes..play 1vs 1 and 2 vs 2 or play arranged team games on both sides.Otherwise don't complain abt that aspect..its the nature of that gamemode. |
Nerf the best OKW units and then OKW must have normal income,otherwise makes no sense.And yes..stuka will occasionally wipe squads..deal with it.Thats how OKW catches up..in a race its always behind.However stuka is no problem is 1 vs 1,seldom in 2 vs 2.Soviet maxim spam in buildings,which is safe from nearly all okw counters gets bulldozed by this unit.Even in video half kills came from buildings...except that just 1 conscript squadwipe..plz.Can't handle it..don't spam maxim in buildings..god knows germans can't put their mgs in buildings due to how shit they are. |
Maxim spam in buildings is absolutely annoying as hell for OKW in teamgames,ISG won't kill fast enough.This is where stuka has no subtitute..punishes this abuse tactic brutally.
Since both german mgs are useless in buildings..soviets love to abuse mgs in urban maps.Stuka drills them in such scenarios from the backside.This is also one of the reasons for hue and cry. |
Stuka can be nerfed as long as it accompanies,maxim and rifle nerf.To balance out the nerfing of this counter to rifleblob and maximspam for okw. |
The issue is not can unit X counter unit Z. Because the ost has every toll needed to counter the am ones and so cost effectively especially if you have the mobile defence doctrine.
The reason why this match up is unbalanced is early game economics. the fastest and least expensive tech AM vs the slowest and most expensive and slowest tech (ost)
to get to tier 2 ost player needs to sacrifice 400 mp. the am zero as they gain either a LT or CPT for free. thats a lot of mp early game. But the ost is forced to buy a pak to deal with the Stuart or the AA track it sets them back another 320 mp. The am on the other hand doesnt have to worry about enemy tanks for quite a while and flak and rifles can handle anything tier 2 ost. so the next fuel mp and ammo can be invested to acquire even more AI power.
In total the ost is set back nearly 720 mp in the very few minutes of the game. that is the key reason why the matchup is so god awfully imbalanced.

Experienced 1v1 players. Who aren't important. I would be surprised if 10% of the playerbase consistently played 1v1. I would say 2v2 has the highest skill cap but 3v3s and 4v4s are probably the most widely played. It boggles the fucking mind why this game isn't balanced towards team play. Though god forbid, really, Relic can barely balance a game involving just 2 people.

What is this even meant to mean? Firstly, the Walking Stuka is not an expensive unit. In a 1v1 game? It's on the slightly higher end of "moderately expensive", but in team games it isn't even remotely an economic drain. Secondly, it's not even more expensive than other similar artillery alternatives.
And yet if you target a large amount of infantry with a Priest, Katyusha, or Panzerwerfer, they're all dramatically worse than the Walking Stuka, which is probably because it's not even a creeping fucking barrage, it's just dropping its entire payload all at once in a straight line.
God forbid you're not constantly right clicking your armies around trying to dodge them, and god forbid you're trying to actually have a fight with your forces instead of having individual squads spread out the entire map capping points on their own, which is essentially playing a shittier version of 1v1.

Yes only u see panthers from ost and okw,that can happen only in 4 vs 4.In 2 vs 2 okw in soem cases maybe-they don't have an alternative.Apart from that the statement is just hyperbole. |

Also ask why okw panther costs 175 fuel with 2/3rd income no better performance..or why jagdpanzer 135 fuel with 2/3rd income and nowhere comparable performance to its actual conversion price. |
