Hi, I don't know how to tank crush, but if anyone would care to share some tips, that'd be great. I have noticed, however, that I have tried to crush with most tanks in the game, across all factions, and can never seem to enjoy the success that others do. So :
which tanks are best for crushing ?

Thanks for the info , everyone who responded; it pretty much confirmed my suspicions. At the very least, I suppose it forces the enemy into building units they might not otherwise build. |

This seems like a weird question, but when is it appropriate to build emplacements with this commander ? In 3v3, 4v4, I feel as if building any emplacements immediately tips your hand, which prompts the enemy to start spamming mortars and ISGs. This pretty much spells your doom, unless your allies can take out the enemy support weapons. Thus, I feel like this commander is fairly easily countered by any Axis player who knows what they're doing. Kind of a one-trick pony. |

OR you could engage in a skillful and intense game of counter-to-counter using combined arms, strategic maneuvers, exciting tank battles, infantry and armor coordination and all round skill, but that is for fools, this is much better for your stats and leaderboard rankings, plus all you need to do is point, click, and retreat!
Disclaimer: Does not work in 1 vs 1, but British are always outnumbered in 1 vs 1, blob early instead!
Nice. This attitude is exactly what's wrong with 99% of Axis players I've ever played against. And this is why playing Axis in team games is generally referred to as "easy mode". Brainless "tactics", and an unjustifiable sense of superiority. |

No special skills required to re-crew; just select your squad and right click the vehicle in question. special note, don't do it in the middle of combat, obviously. also, if you're the one whose tank is abandoned, you might consider attacking ground with other assets, if it looks in danger of being taken. just destroy it. |

Happens all the time. the matchmaking issue is well-documented. sometimes I'm the shitty player, sometimes I lose hard because of one or more shitty players on my team. play AT, or just use the game to try out new tactics and strats if you want. not sure what the OP's point is with this thread.... there should be a forum category named "dontcha just hate it when ..." |

I wholeheartedly agree with this plan. However, as some have mentioned, punishing early leavers might be too much. After all, I sometimes leave because a kid is out of bed, etc....
The toxicity can be over the top, and is absolutely absurd sometimes. To the point where you want to turn off the chat. Yes, there are immature individuals out there, but there's no place for their shenanigans in a game that has a decidedly "mature" bent. Base wrecking, insults, threats, etc... should not be tolerated, even if this is the internet. Most people are fine, and might even apologize for their idiot team-mates, but I still feel that it's not unreasonable to try to make our little corner of the interwebs more pleasant for those who just want to enjoy a nice game.
As this game is complex and has a steep learning curve, I'd like to think that most people try their best when they play, so the last thing the player base needs is to lose people becasue they got roasted by their own team-mates, or opposing players, for being "noobs". |

Pfff. Nearly every goddamn Axis unit is better than its Allied counterpart, and you whine about the Calliope. To me, this sounds like Axis fans who got too accustomed to their ROFLstomp easy team wins, and now have to adjust a bit. Oh no ! Looks like you won't be able to spam bunkers, or camp out next to your med truck/ panzerschwerer/ 2 x LEIGs/ MG34s ! Get over it. You have any idea how INFURIATING it is to play against Axis in team games ? And you have the nerve to whine like this every time Allies gets one good thing ? Can't say as I blame you, though, because it seems to work. Every time the Axis fans start to whine, Allies get fucked. So keep it up, maybe the next patch the Calliope will be made of papier-mache, and fire candy canes.
PS, and it comes at 10 CP. Plenty of time for your schrek blobs to seek and destroy. |
