Now it doesn`t really sound that great. Actually it sounds balanced with that load out. And it will allow teching AND T34/85s so you dont get punished saving for fuel and building say T4 Soviet. Perhaps forshadowing what is predicted in patch Essentially Guards motor without all the crappy abilities in Guards motor such as the Craptastic super expensive inaccurate 120MM MP drain, Vehicle Self repair that causes your vehicles to be paralyzed if attacked by Pios....and ending with IL2 which is just boss.... And 5xGren spamm with Airplane mode instead of tanks Why bother with tactics when you can just use 2 units right? Except the Soviet Doctrine has no drawbacks. The German Doctrine though imho very good too will eat your fuel preventing alot of tanks. ARGH going to have to wait another 90 days for this to get adjusted. I guarantee that commander is going to be an issue big time. Radio Intercept by itself is a big big advantage in mid tier play. Its one of my favorite abilities. But it doesnt belong with EVERY other great soviet abilities. All they are missing are Shocks... In: Lobby

I thought relic realized this as well because the only other german doctrine with fuel to too much muni was osttruppen, and no ppsh doctrine had call-in tanks. Until now, anyway... Exactly! From my Steam post... /Facepalm Relic Relic Relic...AGAIN! The Soviet commander is going to be the defacto commander from this day forward. Radio Intercept - Awesome as hell Guards - useful but hampered due to lack of AI infantry buttt.... PPSH - No longer hampered by lack of AI but thats ok because those commanders dont have call ins! But.... T34/85 IMHO best tank in the game for cost IL2 Need I say more? And Mark Target to boot. So yeah bu bye German Early Game, Light Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles and Infantry..........SIGH And before any of you folks say anything I play mostly Soviets Looks like this new commander is going to be the new Soviet Version of Elite forces... Thread: Cruzz's thread of crappy game changes26 Jan 2014, 16:57 PM I agree with everything but the partisans. Spawning anywhere is thebonly goodbthing about them. Yiu are guaranteed to lose 120 MP each time you spawn them because maintaining them takes an act if the RNG gods. Building mine fields behind enemy lines is kinda what makes them good. That and flanking the good ole massive weapon team spam of turtles. So if they removed that i would want arty in the doctrine. Way too many geeman turtles in mid levwl 2v2.... In: COH2 Balance

Personally, I feel like Penal Troops are more akin to Assault Grenadiers, since both units trade their AT ability for increase base AI. Since Assault Grenadiers are 320 Manpower, 300 seems like an okay price for Penals (or for both, actually). They are better AI than agrens. They shouldnt cost less. Maybe the other way around. Thread: A good Pgren AI Demonstration21 Jan 2014, 03:15 AM Around the 7 min mark on the lower fuel. I roll in with a Pgren that ate his wheaties and do two Script whipes and force retreat a Guard in a matter of seconds. This is a good example of how potent the "Glass Cannons" can be. Bleed them dry. 1 Sniper costs less than 1 shock and owns them. Once you hit vet1, hilarity ensues (pending RNG gods). I have a replay where my sniper kills 1 shock model with the first hit, then first an incendiary round that kills 4 more models. The lone shock model retreats, only to be gunned down by rambo sniper. For mere mortals this is incredibly hard now due to the sniper wanting to hold fire all the time if you have mire than one skirmish at a time. Ive had my sniper just start walking towrds the shocks when i was focused on another battle. He didnt shoot once. Once they fix this bug i will be back to snipers. But in the meantime a retreating ST is a useless st. In: COH2 Balance
