Give it mg42 like in coh1 and more armor
And vet. |
I think having a uniform collection of Sherman variants on the field actually looks better than a hodge-podge bunch of rare tanks.
Though why not have the Jumbo as the non-doc and the Pershing in a doc? Then you wouldn't necessarily want to take the Persh doc every time. |
I'd like to see the Jumbo, not sure on whether doc or non-doc would be better, though. OTOH, I'd hate to see the Pershing again.
But the Jumbo shouldn't have the 76mm gun or anything especially useful for offensive combat, it should just be a damage sponge. |
Yea. It's not about avoiding punishment for poor judgment, but avoiding having to feed your opponent. Many initially useful units almost inevitably end up being destroyed during the match, but good micro should be rewarded with the possibility of peacefully withdrawing the units that have outlived their usefulness.
Take, for instance, the Kubel. Most of the time it gets shot up somewhere and the enemy claims the XP, but if you really did manage to get it to survive until the late game, why should you then be "punished for poor choices" and have to feed it to your opponent in order to free pop cap for that decisive Panther? |
How about as a swap-in for the Stuart? Like Tales of Valor had. |
I'd even be happy without any refunds. It's the pop cap that I usually want to free up. |
Make it so that caches give a fixed amount of income, but split among the team.
IE. +4 fuel for the only player in 1 v 1, +1 fuel to each player in 2v2.
Or do they already do this? Have to admit I never checked. |
I have. Thought it only happened if you specifically target a building. |
I don't know if this is anything new to anyone, but you can use the Cpt to also boost allied Sov structures. Haven't really found a sweet combo based on this yet, though. |
I'm completely fine with P47. The difference is that it can be countered.
I once got fed up with them flying around and bothering our Panzers, built two flak HT's and blew those two gardeners right out of the sky on their first run. |
