Blood skins are ridiculous, I don't care if somewhere somehow it happened. It's not something that should show up on every tank in a company engaged in a single battle. |

I still think Hermann Göring / Luftwaffe Field Division would be the best choice for another Axis.
Could be incorporated into an Italian front campaign along with Brits as a major faction and Brazilians, Moroccans, Nisei and whatever as commanders and from then on into the MP. |

I get moral dissonance from doing so, much like when gunning down the ambulance.
OTOH, like mentioned, they ARE dying anyway, so I guess it's more like euthanasia...
I wish there was some way to help them, like medics running around and carrying them off. Even if it gained you nothing. They could do it in between healing your own troops, you could still have the choice of simply offing them. I'd also like a way to spare the ambulance. |

I can live with that, I just hope they don't implement completely ridiculous ones like trollfaces or pedobears into the decals.. For immersions sake, quasi-historical only plz. |

How about having a Luftwaffe faction? Ground troops for poor cheap basic infantry, buildable Falls in different kinds of squads for elite. Recoilless guns for light arty/AT, Panzer III's, captured arty pieces, Marders, StuHs , 88's, Wirbelwinds, Kettenkrads.. Sort of like tough infantry, light vehicle support faction modeled on the Hermann Göring division, Luftwaffe Ground divisions and Fallschirmjäger divisions and the Italy campaign. Could even have italian support or confiscated Italian tanks. |

Also, I read somewhere that the Obersoldat rank (or -grenadier, -pionier, -fusilier) was awarded to those that simply had no leadership potential whatsoever. Anyone with an inkling of leadership potential would instead be promoted right to Gefreiter after a set period of time in service. Thus those ranked Obersoldat would really not be first rate troops..
The unit portrait makes them look like older soldiers, men in their 40s. I suppose they're supposed to portray very experienced, seasoned and/or lucky veterans. |

My guess is that they're divisional emblems. That would leave some room for imaginary ones, like clan markers, without breaking immersion too much.
Though they did spray all sorts of names and slogans on the tanks, too..
I'm just hoping they don't go all World of Tanks on this, all those Polish flags and whatever random siema kurwa stuff on those tanks is silly. |
