Why don't you test the US commander with the 76mm sherman as well as dozer blade upgrade? It's not going to instantly turn it into a godlike commander, but it will make it much more viable and useful. Or even the easy8, so that there is one decent commander with the easy8. I really don't get what you're worried about, considering one of the new Axis commanders has a much better medium tank and a tiger ace, on top of everything else that commander provides. Because apparently this community belives that rocket artillery + medium tank would be broken, but only for usf. Heavy tanks + rocket artillery + elite infantry is fine for other factions tho. Other than that I don't know what you mean by proper heavy tank for the USF when they have the Pershing which was the heaviest US tank to see action during the war, well apart from the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo which is more like a beefed up medium tank than a heavy such. You can feel free to elaborate on what exactly you mean by nondoctrinal elite infantry and nondoctrinal rocket artillery. All forms of historical "elite" US infantry already exist in the game and the only rocket artillery we used during the war is the Calliope as far as I'm aware and I don't think people would be satisfied with it even if it doesn't require a doctrine to be honest. Proper heavy tank means tank with more than 800hp. Nondoctrinal elite infantry means infantry squad that is stronger than riflemen (preferably long range) and available without picking doctrine. People would be satisfied with calliope if it wasnt literally the worst AND most expensive rocket artillery in the game. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Sherman 76 is lackluster14 Apr 2019, 19:33 PM But... Its accuracy is above average? It has the same on the move accuracy as the other usf vehicles, which means its pretty good. The reason why its so shit is because it has 640hp and 160 armor with standard 40 range. You will have to expose yourself to enemy fire because of standard range, and you have no chance to deflect at gun shots meaning you will die to 4 shots every time. At this point its better to get 75mm with its potent HE shells and cover it with jackson. 76mm is pointless. I suggest doing what top players are doing and ignore 76mm existence. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Is the Panther overpowered?14 Apr 2019, 19:25 PM Panther is obviously overpowered after last rework that buffed its HP to make it "more consistent (read: uncounterable) but dont worry, all the allied tank destroyers got buffed to compensate, so now we see panther (tank destroyer) vs allied tank destroyers or heavy call ins every game, eliminating medium tanks from the game. This is not considered broken either. Techless 2 CP AT guns and old AT overwatch were broken however. Yeah 2cp at gun was a bug, it was supposed to be 3cp, even description said that. How did balance team respond? Did they fix the bug? No. They destroyed any synergy of recon company with this stupid pack howi change. Now we can see how they are "tweaking" Rangers to fit into new commander, but they complatly dont give a rats ass about Rangers in Heavy Cav. Ability will prove problematic, they will "adjust" Rangers and Heavy Cav will get nerfed into irrelevance. In: COH2 Balance

I'm saying the muni cost is justifies its power. Thompson paras and the off map are 140mu you could kill the MG a hell of alot quicker. They throw a grenade and were entering stuka dive bomb/precision bombing territory. Maybe have more than JUST a single weapon team holding your entire point so that if the enemy wants to dump hundreds of munitions into taking it out you don't crumble. You are not paying 140 muni to use it every time, it costs 70 muni for smoke + sprint. Breaking ost defenses even once in 1v1 is enough to snowball into big lead as usf. And this combination seems very good at rushing team weapons, avoiding bunkers and getting on top of ost infantry. There is good reason why rangers dont have sprint, they dont need it to be effective tbh. You dont really have to teach me how to defend vs usf as im playing pretty much only usf. There are many people here who think ost is in a bad shape especialy vs usf. This change is not very meaningful vs okw but makes usf even better vs ost. In: COH2 Balance
