The firefly is tuned for heavy armour and high health pools but suffers at the hands of mediums due to its speed. The comet kicks medium ass. It's last round of nerfs was to make it so it WASN'T a panther analog and instead its own thing. Revisited vet would be a good place to start. It's not a panther it's a t34/85 OP has the right idea though. Comet doesnt kick any ass, its ass itself. Its worse vs tanks and infantry than panther while costing the same. Last round of nerfs was to make it not batshit OP because back then it was better than panther in everything (guys behind balance going from extreme to extreme here). Its not a t34/85, its a panther. I dont know how blinded you have to be to not see that. Same cost and being placed behind 50 fuel upgrade (similar to ostheer) is very clear sign. In: COH2 Balance

But i dont think comet needs better anti inf capabilities. UKF already has centaur, cromwell and chuchill for anti inf duty and only firefly for anti tank without doctrines. Since brits are copy of ostheer already i think comet should become more like a panther with anti tank purpose in mind. In: COH2 Balance

LOL Yes and yes. Ostheer panther uses heavy tank skin, has heavy crush and is more durable than any tank USF can field. Looks like a heavy tank to me. Panzer grenadiers have bundle grenade, cost 340mp, same as stortroopers and only 10mp less than commandos and come from t2 building unlike mainline infantry that comes from t0/1. Pretty standard elite squad. In: COH2 Gameplay

Lets forget that you need to pay for it, 70 muni for dozer + 70 muni for pintle mount = 140 muni per Sherman. I wonder how will you afford double BARs, which obviously are mandatory since in every thread about USF you can read how double BAR Riflemen are destroying axis infantry every game. In: Lobby

I mean, i see people crying about USF commander but people voted for it in the first place. Even those who claim the commander is weak suggest ideas out of place and dont respect at all the concept that most of people voted... Do you understand words i wrote in my previous post? There was no choice, it was one specified commander versus bunch of different ideas from different people. Even if second option got through balance team could put literally anything there, including current commander (and they probably would). You say most people should decide what is in and then you dismiss all the feedback that is coming from them about this commander. The feedback is mostly negative, best seen in reddit thread where 90% people said this commander is weak and boring. Concept of this commander is urban assault yet it didnt have any urban assault tools at first, only after people spoke out they decided to throw some molotovs and white phosphorous in. This shows how laughably bad this commander is. In: COH2 Balance

Yes i remember, one option being commander that got voted in, second option a bunch of commander proposals from different people with different units each. One even had pershing BUT there was specified that calliope will be in either of voted commanders. So whats the point of the vote at all? In: COH2 Balance
