Commander we are talking about doesnt have access to pershing. 2. Its not "e8 jumbo", its M4A3E2 "Jumbo". 3. It would be very special, if it was somewhere between KV1 and Churchill this would be unit type USF has no access to. Best thing would be to slap some special skin on it (or existing skin in different color), limit it to one and make it buildable from major tech, similar to OKW tiger. In: COH2 Gameplay

The only things that wouldnt prove problematic in your eyes are 5 men conscript squad and 4 men maxim crew. Every single thing that is not absolute trash "would prove problematic". I personally think the current Sherman variants with all kinds of different amounts of HP and armor are already pushing the boundries of visual communication to the player. A pseudo-Jumbo model that mostly looks like a Sherman 76mm with a shorter barrel but with way higher armor/hp than other similar looking Shermans would make things too confusing. 1. Nobody will see these defining features from standard camera angle anyway. 2. Barrel lenght and icon are most standing out features anyway. 3. Every special sherman variant is limited to only one doctrine. You wont see all of them on the battlefield at once unless its 4v4 which is shitshow anyway. In: COH2 Gameplay

Bump this thread so its always on top, this might be the most important coh2 decision in last few years. Sherman Jumbo with performance between KV1 and Churchill, new model and new unit type for USF. It's a simple alternative if you ask me. Its just weird thing to do in my opinion, COH1 tommies got snipe ability because brits didnt have sniper. In COH2 usf has 0 counters to sniper, it would make so much more sense to give it to them instead of making brits a faction of snipers. In: COH2 Gameplay
