That allied fanboy number 1 is 400 ranks higher then you in your own beloved axis faction ranking.
You might get a stroke now, but I'm better then you in your own faction of choice and I'm calling things for how they are.
If opponent gets enough time to get all of your army off the field and destroy trucks by your own base sector, you should suck less, blob less and consider putting some mines around your vulnerable spots.
If you still suck hard enough and are losing trucks despite that, put them in the base if you can't use and defend them properly.
That doesn't change that you are an allied fanboy. I remember that you argued once that the Pwerfer is op because it had a mounted MG whereas the Katyusha doesnt
My mate and I used to be top 100 2v2 and I also made top 200 in 1v1s, but nowadays I dont play this game very regularly anymore, thus our ranking is bad. Just no need to grind into a new meta for a dead game. |
If you had to retreat most of your forces at once, you're not playing an equal game or overextended far behind enemy line.
What answer would I expect from the ally-fanboy number 1? So what about allies overextending and being pushed back to their base? Do they then immediately lose their buildings aka their ability to build anything useful? |

OKW buildings are the biggest reason why OKW is so shit atm (at least in 2v2s). You cant place them even one sector next to your base without risking losing them since they die so incredibly fast. Yet you dont get any worthwile bonusses when building them outside; high risk, low reward. I have seen enemy troops casually walking through the OKW flak without taking too much dmg. Completely overnerfed, and whwen you lose it, you lost the game. |
Churchill is an incredibly dumb unit which can absorb insane amounts of damage and can deal very decent damage itself while costing pretty little. It is a very noob-friendly unit because it does not require attention and allows for many mistakes due to its survivability. In that regard it is like a Centaur, where it doesnt matter if you use those units badly, since they can forgive so many mistakes. I would suggest nerfing their speed to match their real life description. |
I agree 1000%. The game is quite dead. Making the game free was supposed to attract more players but it ultimately failed to keep any sustained interest from the new players. The balance is all over the place and the balance team seems to simply do whatever they want to do. Quite a few nerfs were uncalled for such as the Ost sniper stun nerf, flame HT nerf, KT nerf, excessive luchs and pfusiliers nerf. Nobody asked for a Ost sniper, flame HT or KT nerf. Brit and Ost snipers are fairly crap and only the SU sniper is good due to its durability since the second man more than makes up for lower RoF, flame HT was already nerfed several times, KT easy gets countered by any 2 sources of AT (you can afford 3 allied heavy TDs for the price and tech cost for a KT.) Both Axis factions are one trick ponies. Easily predictable.
The last patches were atrocious and simply made the allies even stronger. My mate and I used to be rank 100 2v2 at, and now we barely make the top 300. Have we become so bad? Sometimes our enemies do really dumb mistakes, but they dont get punished or it doesnt make a difference for them. Meanwhile if you as axis do a mistake, its gg (for example losing a t70 or losing a luchs has such a different impact on the game, the latter matters way less). Nearly every axis unit has been nerfed, most of them to being unplayable (but you have to because you have no choice). |
I think the accuracy of German at guns in particular is atrocious and should be buffed. Just had a game where a raketen missed 4 times in a row against a non-moving SU-85, which destroyed the Flak HQ in the meanwhile. Ofc he doesnt get punished for such a dumb play, but gets rewarded with bad German accuracy. Especially as a German, you rely so heavily on your at guns, they are the only thing you have against superior armour in early and mid game. If they simply cannot hit their target somewhat consistently, why do we bother getting them anyways? I am so fed up losing because of bad RNG, because a unit that is supposed to counter another unit simply cant do it... |
The game is dead anyways, sometimes is better to just bury the dead and forget about them. The balance has become worse and worse with every patch, I remember a brief time where it was actually fun to play - just before the stupid Brits were introduced. From then on, it went downhill. |

Nah thats not true anymore, firefly/su/katy beats any axis late game comp unless axis wins early game. Flamer HT and Flak HT and pushing allies off resources is best play
I know, but axis at the beginning are more often than not quite shitty. It all depends on your MG42 placement and OKW is pretty much useless early game since Volks are bad per se, have no faust or flame nade and since Kübel is useless in fights now. |
