Yeah. My biggest issue with allies is how slow their start can be. Its frustrating because a lot of games with allies if you dont play good early on can turn easy games into long struggles. Especially on maps with early cutoff/fuel building rushes.

I miss the really old 222 where it would start as 221 (if not mistaken) without the auto cannon. So much better against sniper and since the auto cannon is useless anyways, why not get the mg back? |

People stating raketen is good LOL. How can AT be good and at the same time die to a tank in an average of 1-2 shots.
Literally as soon as a raketen is revealed, it is dead. The crew cannot take any damage, not from tanks and not from infantry with small arms. Retreat doesnt change that. |
Most allies units can easily win 1 v 2 in early game. But this game is broken as hell anyways, no reason to bother about it. |
I agree about 120mm but we can still L2Flank HMGs, its not hard to flank Maxims now.
It's not hard to flank Maxims, that's true. But if there are 3 Maxims because you are playing a small ass map against Soviets whose sole intent it is to camp the VP, good luck. |
The new patch wasnt so new after all. We are back to Maxim spam plus 120mm spam where Russians just sit there and pick you apart. Good luck saving for that Pwerfer lol and even more luck hitting smth... |
I don't know who came up with those genius change. But OKW right now has the worst basic infantry, the most expensive tech, lowest Price/performance ratio tanks, and the most terrible artillery (ISG is pretty much a stone catapult, and it still got nerfed wtf!!). On the other hand, infantry section, guards and conscript are buffed, how is okw player supposes to win a infantry engagement while volks are significantly overpowered by rifleman and infantry sections. These infantry changes require OKW players to rely more on their light armors, and guess what, Panzer 2 and Stuka also got nerfed. Whoever made this balance pack may just as well add a "free win" bottom to Allied players screen whenever they meet a OKW

one point more: this units doesnt need manpower to replace like infantery units. After build it...u get a huge advantage....exspacily in teamgames, where a mate can support to build your city.
Totally agree. The Bofors actually encourages blobbing. Why? Because what is the biggest disadvantage of blobbing? Losing map control after you have to full retreat your blob. But with the Bofors to hold a steady frontline you will never have to worry about losing too much territory. USF blob/Penal blob backed up by Brits defenses is horrible to play against. In particular with the ridiciolous range of the mortar pit, which on some maps literally covers the whole map (crossing in the woods for example). |
lol everyone is voting out large maps so they can play cluster fuck games with less ability to flank.
Because you can flank so well on maps like Düsseldorf or Lierneaux (south side)... large does not equal good map design. |
