You don't need to wait 6 months for meta to stabilize to realize long range, fast vehicle is a counter to short range infantry spam with no AT or AT nades.
And why wouldn't you be able to build an at-gun lmao? |
Upgraded 250 hardcounters it completely.
And since you're going to be calling in AT squad, you're going to have 250 if you didn't identified what opponent does and built one earlier already.
BOYS AT spam is much more scary.
Well, the game just came out, so it is really hard to tell what works and what is just a goofy meme strat. But that is the fun of it right now, compared to CoH 2 where you were forced to do the same meta strat every game or you would automatically lose... |
Sounds like a build hard-countered by one or two LVs lmao
Depends on a) the game mode (more players = more at/small arms fire) or b) how fast you get bois rifles, which you can get pretty early tbf... |
British Sappers are utter bs. You can't even allow them to come remotely close. Pretty much over the top for a starting unit.
In my first game as DAK (maybe my 10th game overall), I was hit with a player literally spamming them. 4-5 of these Sappers, all with flamers, and then Indian arty (heavy mortar and arty emplacement). That was very very effective... |
That is more of Wehr advantage as ketten post upgrade gives raw +3 on points.
I used to open with bike, but its not worth it most of the time unless you're one of the god micro players.
PG into 250 into PG is much more versatile and aggressive opening then what you've described, it might be just my imagination, but it is very noticable that DAK infantry really does perform a lot better with vehicle around.
Having use them and having them used against me, I'll just say this:
Don't fucking blob like it was coh2.
It's not about blobbing, but an anti-tank loiter WILL destroy your tank without any effort and there is nothing you can do about it. Medium tanks simply melt away. That has nothing to do with blobbing I think... |
Wtf are these skill planes? How tf did Lelic take one of the things player DESPISED the most and made them even more op??? |
What does it bring?
What does it improve if you have to input couple more actions?
All it does it make you spam additional button.
There is no skill involved in that.
There is no micro involved in that.
There is no planning involved in that.
There is no immersion involved in that.
It does not improve combat, it does not improve overall experience, it does not make you better at the game.
You just mash one more button every X seconds.
This is like complaining that in SC2 you could control more then 12 units in the same control group and arguing it was somehow less skill involving.
I think auto-reinforce for the HQ is a good thing, but HTs are a bit too much. Makes it way too easy to keep up the front line. If it would at least cost some micro, but there is nothing to it except right-clicking next to the HT... |
I think HTs shouldn't have auto-reinforce and heal. Technically, HTs in CoH2 have the same capabilities (reinforce and heal), but it took some micro, which is fair, I think. Having all of this automatically, is a bit too much imo. |
Bruh the first time I used the stuka loiter, it wiped 4 inf squads and destroyed 2 tanks in the ENEMY BASE. The other day I immediately moved out of the circle and still lost 3 shermans who were all above 75% HP.
All the loiters are completely broken overpowered at the moment.
They might change this (or rather have to), but how do they allow this to happen again and again? Why does Lelic insist to make stuff that the community complains even stronger in the sequels? Like the mortar pit in CoH2 when Brits came out... |
gotta give merit to axis players' thought about the leig being a bad indirect, but then making one or two of them each and every single 3v3 game out there
In 2v2 it's the same. They outrange normal mortars, they screw a t2 Soviet build over, they have the same range as mortar pits and 120mm mortars, they screw Cons behind cover, they only cost 270 and you can spam smoke everywhere, they are non-doctrinal. Yea, I wonder why you see them all the time? |
