Its just complete stupidity at this point. Its dumb to see this kind of tactic being viable at the higher levels. In: COH2 Balance

Active abilities that bring the level of the unit up to the level of the player using it. If you want cheap recon there it is, but if you want more... You can get it. I'd have targeted buffs and debuffs as well as increasing the view for a small time all at additional costs. i think this is the best idea, a 250/251 half track. A unit like the major for USF but a half track. Can call down, smoke, arty, recon or whatever for a munitions cost each. The current IR Half track is one of the worst units in the game. For what it's worth I think the Firefly is balanced (hits hard but slow reload and mediocre mobility), the SU-85 is mostly balanced (although I think the selfspotting is bad because it goes against the combined arms principle of the game, even if it has a significant drawback) except for its very high penetration, and the Jackson is slightly overperforming on purpose because it's the only real reliable late game AT for USF. Obviously the SU-85's and Jackson's situation isn't ideal but tinkering with them will be very complex and have significant ripple effects, and that's not really something we want to touch at this point. As long as Jackson can retain the damage and pen after being nerfed, they can be balanced. Why wasn't the Jackson at least tested with more changes during the preview. Changes like, Moving acc nerf, no vehicle crew, maybe slightly less acceleration etc. Why is ther such fear of touching anything USF have like Jacksons, pack howi etc, its like someone has you guys by the balls In: COH2 Balance

I mean I get OPs point... It's super frustrating to feel like you have to put so much effort to counter low-level play that doesn't fully utilize Coh'2 combined arms/cover system when you should just be able to outplay them into a quick win. But what does OP expect to change? waits for the derp derp just have a nerf aura if someone has 3+ units in close proximity lol, axis 4 man blobs are terrible and easily lose to other blobs a swell as get DECIMATED more easily by allied rocket arty, its also common to have some usf blobs with zooks to make them AT too which makes them more cancer and even more so with rear echloens and riflenades. But g43 Pfussie blobs is also a concern when blobbed like riflemen, both need looking at. regarding what can be done, revert some of the buffs riflemen got, or limit them to 1 bar, maybe look at FREE OFFICERS which allows them to form these blobs quickly. USF not only have better main line infantry, but they can equal or outnumber their counter parts, so maybe something to stop that from happening. edit- Look at soviets when u go penals, yes they will decimate grens and volks, but you cant get as many inf out as your opponent, so ther is a trade off. But for some reason when OKW did that to the glorious USF, that wasnt allowed and OKW volks and starting MP got nerfed xD In: Lobby
Thread: What if we made the Flame Hetzer a useful unit? 3 Apr 2020, 18:06 PM is obvious without a doubt team games are more popular, but team games are more difficult to balance. Regrading hetzer, it is a good unit but its just too risky to go for, rather go safe and go for p4, if it came earlier it would see more use, but could lead it to over perform for its timing. (hence the difficulty in balancing it) tbh idk what sander is talking about how this unit is used alot in team games, i bareley ever see it in team games. In: COH2 Balance

Faction as a whole was crippled to the point where they had to give them AT nades, which they never needed before. Ive played in the last 2 years and you haven't, so don't talk. they've received both buffs and nerfs in the last 2 years, its been back and forth, same with every other faction. Yh they got AT nades because some of ther cheese wer removed with piats and AEC, just like OKW with ther shreks and fausts. In: COH2 Balance

That said, if they're going to be turned into a wholesome faction, I'd like to see some of their overpowered abilities adjusted like the bonus sight on all Sections. It makes it impossible to outposition UKF, especially when combined with the sight upgrade on all tanks. +1, especially in team games, brits can be so damn cancer with double bren IS, constant arty left and right, simcity emplacements (though i can understand the difficulty with with nerfing emplacements). UKF should come with buffs as well as nerfs. In: COH2 Balance
