With the last few patches, some gimmicks had to go for the sake of the balance. I personally miss no tech tied call-ins and low fire arc Maxims. God, those units were fun to use. Some no tech call-ins could stay as long as they where specialized and did not cover all needs of armor (Dozer/m10 combo). Hezter, Ostwind and even KV-8 are good examples. In: Lobby

Thread: Lets talk about Encirclement Doctrine5 Jan 2018, 10:30 AM One can simply redesign "close the pocket" to something else than very hard to pull off but I do I win the game. Example: Now targets a enemy single sector. Enemy units within the sector suffer a +5% TS and -5% armor penalty for each sector bordering that is neutral or enemy controlled. If the targeted sector becomes neutral penalties are doubled but capped at 30%. In: COH2 Gameplay

Were you not around when the STUG's used to have the stun shot and it was nerffed into the main gun disabled? STUG's could chain shot it, and disable any allied tanks to the point they were wrecked. 5 seconds is a long time to be stuck in the field while 2-3 stugs are firing at you. Best price for performance for a tank killer, and they just increased it AI capabilities and lowered the cost of the MG while still allowing it to punch holes in any medium tank, and reliably hit heavies (so few heavies anyways that they have to ever deal with). Actually the Stug was better off before the patch. TWP got nerf. The hmg has 4.3 DPS at range 40 which is not that impressive and it actually does not have the sight to fire at that range. StuG III Ausf G The StuG G’s ‘Target Weakpoint’ ability's potency is being reduced, in return the StuG G machine gun is being boosted to have better use in defending the vehicle against infantry. Target Weakpoint changed from 15 second main gun disabled to a 5 second stun Target Weakpoint damage from 160 to 80 MG 42 upgrade from 50 munition to 30 *MG 42 range from 35 to 40 In: COH2 Balance

I agree with you on the game being awful on communicating important mechanical information to the player. I have played about 50 MP matches so... For a game that has been out for so many year you are "noob", but that is not a bad thing and it certainly does not give others the right to insult you. I would suggest thou that you start by playing 1vs1 where you can learn faster. Then move to 4vs4 where a weak player has less impact in the game. I would also suggest that you watch the replay to see how you opponent won. Then you can try the same tactic and see your opponent will counter it, and so on... (for a weird reason is they down to 2-3 and have picked weapon they have more damage out of cover because picked up weapon actually suffer a penalty when in cover.
