Their flamer upgrade make them pretty useful in urban maps .
For the rest, I dunno I find them pretty useless too. 'Anti-infantry' - sure.
For mid-late game that flame benefit goes away imo. Because now you have one less rifle shooting (which isn't all that effective anyway. And now you have a unit that needs to get close to shoot...which against obers for example just melts them away. Would make more sense on a close range unit like shocks, or it makes sense on USF because they can smoke and BAR. SO now you're stuck with a expensive unit. IMO conscripts scale better late...even though they are paper, but they at least have molvs and Anti tank grenades. |
For the cost, I would rather give my troops 4 BARS. 240mm is the biggest waste of garbage for arty strike in my opinion. Yeh you get lucky once in a while, but at least with 4 bars you're guaranteed to do good dmg probably.
Also I'm pretty sure you need line of sight for it to KEEP firing if I'm not mistaken??? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Which usually just means you TK your own guys. |
The main problem with this is the resource conversion.
The plane call-ins are useful abilities and aren't problematic on their own, but because they can be spammed with the conversion, they are unfair.
It needs to be brought inline with the Soviet Lend Lease fuel drop, which has a worse conversion ratio (100mu/30fu compared to 50fu/125mu) and Lend Lease uses a big slow plane which gets shat on by OKW flak and makes it a 100mu gamble if you're not vs pure Ostheer, (not to mention the generally better AA that axis have) whereas CAS is instant conversion, which then can be converted again into air strikes and panzershrecks and LMGs etc etc.
They should either:
A.) Make it like lend lease tactics planes so there is risk
B.) Lower the amount of munitions even much further because there is no risk
C.) Get rid of the munitions conversation all together and make it slightly cheaper to use abilities or just leave the same and make them rely on capping things like everyone else.

I've seen this the last 3 games I've played. Also when I play axis, CAS is a obvious easy choice. While the strafing runs etc are scary, it's not that part of the commander thats that most scary in my opinion. In anything other than 1 vs 1, a CAS commander can use all those munitions for their troops instead of the air runs.
Sooo what does that mean for Allies?
CONSTANT rifle nuke nades and shreck/mg blobs. All while their allies build the tanks...but even then CAS can pump out a few P4's while using every ability known to man for their infantry.
As others stated, why do they get a instant munition dump with no risk?
Also AA does not shoot down all of CAS planes, even the strafing runs are not shot down before they can deliver their payload most times even with tons of allied AA as others mentioned. |
One flame motor or stuka can easily kill a motor pit..and well pretty much anything for the british. |

Why don't they ever fix the Riflemen AT grenade so a man with Parkinson's disease isn't shooting it. Literally all other factions have a quick disable option, why does USF need to be punished with a minute shooting animation lol. They have minimal AT options the way it is. I don't understand why more people don't bitch about it. Well probably because no one played them before this patch I guess. |
For the 210mp there is no way partisans can be doing the damage they are. I'm all for making partisans useful but their MP value needs to reflect their performance and even then their PPSHs are probably doing too much damage.
Rush obers with infrared scopes for mid game. Partisan commander has no heavy tanks. It completly destroyed partisans and will turn the tide. |

getting a granadier mg or a HMG42 getting killed and stolen, and getting pressured on the cut off, after a couple of minutes a t70 appers, followed by t76. GG
I'm am not saying is impossible to comeback, but playing from the bottom at the start of the game is very hard.

I am fucking speechless at this stupidity. its a 1 CP unit. you dont have any counters you listed. ffs stop posting.
So you're saying you're losing the ENTIRE game during the 1CP phase? If that's the case you blow. Build a MG and cover your guys. So the 2 CP shocktroops are unstoppable as well because they come out so early? 2cp is not much more, and I rather have shocks. ALSO germans get a 0 CP assault grenadier, as well as a mine counter quite quickly.. Partisans commander does not scale well to late game...which you can do ALL of the counters I mentioned after mid game.
