Does anyone have stats on what units do in regards to the tick times as mentioned above?
I've seen the flame half track destroy squads in seconds. While some of the other vehicles are garbage and more expensive.
It would be neat to see these stats. |
Alright, well hopefully they fix it soon ugg. Right now, as a Russian team player, I feel like MG spam is still the only way to go...which I don't like because it's boring.
Because conscripts die sooo much faster than axis models, they just don't scale worth a crap because they're less likely to retain vet verses their axis counter part. So MG spam it is until they fix it, because even at vet one it can at least hold the volk flood back a little better. |
Just a quick question, has the vet bug been fixed with the 25th patch yet? If not, is there a ETA? (I know it's relic) |
I don't recall ever seeing a 34/76 in my four months of CoH2.
Because it's a I lose button.
Manpower is crazy expensive for this piece of crap when it can lose to a puma. |
#best variety of units
#best early baseline infantry with lolMGspam
#best blob
#best medium tank / TD swarming
#best late game artillery
#best one click wonder
All those things are Axis advantages
Yeh they're all axis advantages. |
Yeh I get this a lot. I'm clicking on the building and slamming the D key, I have to keep selecting the house with the mouse and keep slamming D for them to actually listen and get out. I understand there is a delay, the problem is, it never seems to select that actual squad (stays on the last unit selected). I never tried this in a controlled environment. But seems to happen once in a while to me. So I feel your pain.
When I'm trying to micro ten other units, and I have to GO back to that house because they didn't freaking listen, is quite annoying and game breaking, when time is extremely important when trying to leave a house from a flame nade for example. |
I don't understand why don't you use mine detectors.
Did you know that is a counter?
How about play the game and git gud that's the only way.
+1 Stop crying pls and l2p
Oh no he doesn't understand why we don't just use mine detectors??? Do you play the game? Do you realize that normally you have more than one unit at a time capturing bases? In fact I can typically have 3-4 units capturing different flags at the same time. So you're saying that as allies, we should invest in 4 engineers squads with minesweepers to fully counter your ability that is entirely free and passive?
Yeh, go play the game more. |
What about buildings they can spot too... or victory, munitions, fuel point, caches?
Trip wire flares?
Can move while camo only if moves in cover.*
0 armor low hp.
Easy countered by a 30 ammo upgrade, commander/infantry ability or special at troops.
Can be attacked/destroyed by anything if spotted.
It was released less than a day ago and you do this.
It was tested by relic internally and then with balance test preview.
Please play the game or ask some other players later for tactics.
*snip of dumb image*
I did mean to put the in cover part, typed it badly. And I probably played more in one day than you have since the entire release. I do play the game. In fact I'm in the top 35 players in the whole world. How much do you play?
Yeh I think I'm entitled to my opinion on balance. |
This is not a thread to cry about the Goliath. It is simply a discussion in regards to one simple mechanic on it in regards to balance.
Should the Goliath be able to self spot for itself?
=============
My take:
I personally don't think it should.
It's not a living creature.
Russian Demos don't self spot, along with any other mines in the game.
It makes no sense from a balance perspective either (taking realism out of the picture). |
I like the above suggestion of Imagelessbean's with a manual booby trap.
If they are going to cry to much about it, another suggestion would be to make a cost cycle for the flares.
Want to instantly place flares on all post? Click the commander button. The button will charge you munitions based on how many flags you captured. Or maybe make it a flat rate (not based on the amount of flags). Anything other than a free, microless ability with nothing but full benefits.
OKW floats munitions now anyways with the latest patch. |
