Thread: [Balance Preview] Pack Howitzer vs Infantry Gun13 Oct 2015, 14:31 PM Relic seems to have to nerf sides in order to prevent people from crying..but breaking balance as a cost. As you mentioned the howie is expensive and doesn't preform as well, also you can't spam them. The ISG is godlike and cheap. So what does relic do? Nerf both of them. The volk incendiary grenade is really good, so what do they do? Nerf it and the moltov. All to prevent people from crying, at the cost of real balance. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: lets talk about medium tanks vs schrecks (AGAIN) 13 Oct 2015, 13:56 PM I've seen schrecks curve to hit their target. Also the range of schrecks are crazy. Basically it's like a at gun (not quite) but still darn far. Meanwhile zooks you gotta be right next to them. If they are not going to nerf schrecks long range abilities, they should make it so volks can only get one schreck instead of two. Problem solved. In: COH2 Balance

Not really comparable. Also doesn't allies inherit lower HP troops cause the OKW's nade to kill much more quickly and effectively? While the Moltov the axis have more of a chance to sit in it and walk out. I was playing axis last night, and while the molvs hurt if I didn't dodge, it wouldn't typically kill a unit as long as I walked out as soon as it dropped, just dmg health if I was baby sitting them. If I had to suggest a solution, I say just make it a longer throw time and make it a little cheaper. It doesn't make sense cooking this grenade anyways. Historically was there even a incendiary axis grenade? I googled it, and only found a grenade strapped to a gas can lol. Also they need to fix the Russian MG. If you throw a incendiary grenade at it now, they keep dropping the MG into the fire until the entire freaking crew dies. In: COH2 Balance

Both it and the howie need its suppression and accuracy looked at with the intent to improve their role. Their role as a more powerful, longer range mortar, not a sniper/mg grenade. Because you can't spam the howie...well unless you want to lose the game as US. Even building one is a internal conflict. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Penals22 Sep 2015, 19:17 PM I don't understand why relic always gives all their unit vet one flares...seriously no one uses them. They are not worth it. I've used them extensively in testing...any it's just not worth it. As others stated, make them more like their intended suicide squad role. Let them oorah, give them some vet ability that makes them stronger as they take losses for example. Or give them flares like relic does, because nothing says rowdy suicide squad like placing flares lol. Or maybe they should give something along the lines of the ability to run into a minefield with an ability on that only kills one model instead of the entire squad while the ability is active.
